I've mostly listened to johnnies music, or the songs he's done with other people, and partially i think i just really like the overall sound, and i really enjoy the melodies and his voice. But i also feel like there's some sort of sincerity to his music, idk how to explain it, it just comes across as very ernest to me, and i like that. i find it valuable and admirable to be vulnerable in that way. and like, everything you make, even if it's not telling your literal life story, as long as it comes from your mind and feelings and thoughts in some way, it still has an essence of you in it, and sharing that can be very scary and there's bravery in that.
