Yes, depression is a very real thing. And yes it CAN be a chemical imbalance in the brain. I suffered from clinical depression for a few years and it was the worst thing I have ever experienced. It is NOT the same as "being very sad". Depression is like being soulless. You feel nothing but a crippling NONSTOP, deep, hollow, emptiness. It is far beyond sadness. I was literally incapable of doing daily things. I couldn't even talk. However, after getting the right medication I completely bounced back to a normal person. Now, I do agree that a lot of "depression" is just self diagnosed or even over diagnosed. And I also believe that a lot of the depression people feel is situational rather than an actual mental illness (that was my case. My brain was actually sick).

The "Pride" movement has been subverted by neo-marxist ideology - namely "critical queer theory" which is rooted not in homosexuality but in Trans-humanism which is an elitist death cult. The current flag represents marxist intersectionality which attempts to enjoin all so-called oppressed identity groups against straight white males. They accomplished this by changing the meanings of words that defined the movement.

Former “sufferer of depression” here. From my experience, I was brought up believing masculinity is toxic and was encouraged to be feminine. It made me confused and depressed about everything. The thing that helped me was the realisation that the world needs masculinity, it’s okay to be masculine and taking on personal responsibility is the greatest help of all. I now am in a state of mind that I cannot see myself ever feeling that hopeless depression again. Gone. Completely. All it took was taking some responsibility and growing enough of a backbone to be comfortable being a man.

Believe me, society desperately needs competent, masculine men! I'm a woman in my early 60's. I remember the difficulties that women had within society when I was younger. However, despite supporting early "feminism" - the vote, equal access to education etc ", I am deeply disappointed with the rudeness, entitlement & contempt for men that many women display now. A woman is as capable of abusing her power and privilege as a man! Well done for working through your self doubt. I wish you every success in your future.

Well done, sir. I can honestly say I experienced the female equivalent. Girls are told they're failures and disgraces if they're not acting masculine. We have to do sports and throw our weight around to be considered "strong." In short, we're encouraged to act like the fabled "toxic males" men are told not to act like. I knew I wanted to lean into my femininity and surrendered to my true nature. If the world doesn't like it, then great, because I don't really like the world. But I do like me. And I'm sure you're a fantastic man. God be with you, brother ✝️

Every time I hear or see the rainbow flag I have to force myself to remember that it has a completely different meaning to what I grew up knowing it as, ie PEACE - I spent my teenage years in Italy and France and it was always the symbol for peace along side the ☮️. A few years later I was in Zurich during Pride and for the first time saw the rainbow flag in that context. My feelings were pretty much’cool, peace, love, acceptance of everyone… yeah great I get it’. Next thing I know… there’s rainbows as pedestrian crossings, Asda is selling kiddy T-shirts with 🌈 and just as you’d imagine it couldn’t get any worse… colours are added to represent mini people lovers and people who aren’t white?!?! And they allow these flags in schools???? Thankfully there’s still a few individuals who are sane and are willing to speak out and not agree with whatever brainwashing is being pushed on them 😢😂 Andrew G is an oasis for the mind and Lawrence F has been 🔝 for me since forever (my background is in performing arts and he’s a fabulous actor)!

In the UK there is more of a problem with classism than racism. People do not really judge on colour (small minority do) they judge massively the poor or working class. Snobbery against Tommy Robinson for instance, they disregard him and judge him racist without listening to anything he says. Also the values, ideology and morals make a person, not the skin colour.

We were not taught critical thinking a long time ago. We were taught historical facts in context. Then comparisons between different historical events could be made within historical frameworks. Theoretical thought on liberalism, Marxism etc was taught. Occasionally, we were asked what did you think, and for the most part our younger selves were to young to appreciate it. However, we disposed of historical events because memorizing facts and dates within context is boring. It’s not boring, it’s hard work and important, If you do not know history anyone can convince you of anything. Today students are taught social studies. This means they learn very little historical fact and most of it is not within the context of that time period but is understood through the lens of presentism and critical theory. They therefore, can not root any of the events of today in the timeline of yesterday and what they fundamentally mean. We do not stress that communism strips people of rights and kills it’s citizens because we focus on fascism as the big baddie even though Mussolini and Hitler were both originally communists.
@ALK7304 ай бұрын
I don’t think the pride flag is revolutionary unless you are referring to critical theory and Marxism and they need to overthrow the system. This is what they chant but not the reality. They don’t want to overthrow the system Because they have put themselves into the system strategically so they have the power, so they are the system. They work within the system to attack and victimize people who value individual rights over collective supremacy. Therefore burning the pride flag is an act of revolution because the act is risky and requires courage in the face of fear.
