the legal system doesnt move fast. we got a big time shortage of court houses. an average court case takes 2 years plus to complete. we even have a constitutional amendment that says people have the right to a speedy trial, but for most people it's not a reality. it was only recently people started reporting p diddy to the fbi and other agencies. so that was the fault of the whistle blowers, but sometims the whistle blowers make sure they have a good case before blowing the whistle. take time to gather evidence and build the case preemptively.
