@better.better Жыл бұрын
probably better not to limit to the same chords. and the lyrics should be sort of ambiguous so that each person might take it in a different direction. this sort of happened with a melody that Cevin Key wrote, used it for both Skinny Puppy and Tear Garden (The Center Bullet) the melody was actually about his mother who had just died, the title refers to have devastated he was to lose her. but he doesn't write lyrics, so for Skinny Puppy I think it was recorded as an instrumental, but for the Tear Garden Edward Ka-spel's interpretation was about a revenge shot to the head

Here's a tuning I've been experimenting with recently: 1. Restring your guitar to be like a left handed, but play it right handed anyway. So the high e is closest to you, while the low E is furthest from you. 2. Retune the strings so that they are eadgbE like a normal guitar... but because all the strings are backwards, they descend in pitch instead of increasing in pitch. So high e and low E stay the same, while b -> a, d -> g, g -> d, and a -> b. 3. After not snapping your a string because you tunes it up 2 semitones, you now have this very familiar setup that is completely foreign at the same time. All your 5ths become 4ths, 3rds become 6ths, and so on. playing usual chord voicings can sometimes oddly sound like cluster chords, forcing you to come up with different shapes you otherwise would never use or think of.

@@Rodrifuuuhe’s expecting it to go down to resolve. Andrew is holding the 6th note in the key, which in a major key, is also the “home” note of the relative minor key, which may be why it sounds kind of resolved to you. But in the key of F major, which is what this song is written in, that note wants to resolve down to a C which is the 5th in the key of F, which is the most stable interval other than an octave.
