Watch Steve Vai's song/video called "Knappsack." He just had surgery on his right shoulder, so he couldn't use his right hand. So the song is played only with the left hand on guitar.

Check out Steve Vai's song Knappsack if you don't already know it! The backstory there is that Steve Vai had a right arm surgery and while the arm was recovering he wrote a five minute guitar solo that's all hammer-ons and pull-offs. Freaking bonkers.

I think it would be absolutely magical if for an episode of Sonic Boom, or even just a collaboration video with Rob Scallon, if you two revisited Pretty Raw and made the version you two were hearing on October 1st. You two both felt like it could use more, vocals, guitar, other arrangement parts. The song is so beautiful and I'm so curious to see what the alternate timeline could've been!

I own a double capsule microphone like that, it's a Josephson C720. The thing I like the most with that kind of mike is that you can choose which directivity you need during the mix by blending one capsule into the other : omni, cardio or stereo of course but also hypercardoid and figure 8 if you flip the phase of one of the capsules.
