Browned Butter: Is when u GENTLY brown the milk solids that is in butter. Clarified Butter is made when u take those same milk solids out of butter. Clarified butter is what they serve to dip lobster and shrimp in at restaurants

Clarified butter is also the butter you need to put on popcorn! Because the milk solids are what contain the water content that makes popcorn soggy. So if you remove them (i.e. clarified butter), popcorn doesn’t get soggy!
