What a great video. I felt your joy with you when you sent the V7. That's what's so wonderful about climbing, no matter your level you intrinsically understand everyone's feelings of success and failure it makes it so social even though it's very much an individual battle with yourself and the problems.
@AndrewFoush4 жыл бұрын
one day I was practicing v5's and decided to just send a v7 and got it 3rd try, I didn't think I was ready but something I learned about climbing is to just try hard things cause sometimes you stick or land moves you didn't think you were capable of, and the only way to find out if you are capable of it, is it to try. If you so happen to do a level dont shift your focus, master every level. Flash every level and nearly every climb of what you are able to do before you move on, but try and least 1-2 hard climbs but only give it a few trys, thats my best tips.

Congrats!!! That's great. And well-made video, thank you for sharing. For anyone else out there curious about muscle activation, it seems like one of the core principles is that instead of stretching your tight muscles, you should focus on strengthen the opposing muscles. Yes it does, the contrast is more on the right, he's flexing in the right, and most likely rounded generously the measurements to his benefit to achieve maximum fat loss percentage. Not as exaggerated as most people do, but it's still exaggerating.

Love the mindset, posture breathing concept, learning to be a yoga teacher at the moment and then looking to do Personal training... Being into gym and climbing at the moment theres a lot of cross over which help. especially with what yogis call Pranayama (LIfe force control), which can just be translated as breath control, between sets now i really focus on getting Full breaths which has seemed to help, but also in sets as i try and make sure i get full inhale and exhales, which is helping me to push through the tough sets and i generally feel a lot stronger!
@SebNooord3 жыл бұрын
Is the mindset & focus day in your "I climb like a pro climber 6 month" plan kind of like the session with tom put into practice, and if so what does a typical session look like? i‘m at an easy V4-V5 (6b) level atm. I‘ll try to train a little harder and do the following exercises on 2 of 3 bouldering sessions every week: 1) hover over holds 2) pull shoulder to hold 3) climb a problem 4 times while not using the right/left hand/foot. I‘ll also try and work out my core and do push ups and some stabilization exercises on 2 other days and have two rest days. Goal is to reach V7(7a) by the end of the year :)
@dendikke34 жыл бұрын
Did you send a V7? :D
@SnowmansApartment4 жыл бұрын
Yarik H haha no, had my own set of complications. Had to stop climbing and condition my wrists first. Turns out, jumping from V5 to V7 in such a speed is only possible if you already climb for several years and have the body to endure the amount of workload.. seems wiser for me to concentrate on just being able to climb injury free before looking at grades 😄 but was nice to try out. I think, once my tendons and ligaments are strong enough, i could easily reach V7. But getting your tendons to that level seems pretty hard, so someone with extremely weak tendons like me 😄
