Space Engineers: Escape From Mars (Episode 1) - How Did We Survive?! (Feat. Kanajashi)

Welcome to Space Engineers Escape From Mars! In this workshop scenario, we've crash landed on the surface of Mars. With limited resources, our task is to survive at all costs. So survive we will! But I'm not alone. This time, we're joined by Kanajashi! With our combined survival instincts, can se survive the hostile environment of Mars? Or will we succumb to the deadly planet and it's inhabitants.
In Episode 1 of this "Escape From Mars" flavor of co-op survival, we get our bearings after crashing down on the red planet and take on a local abandoned ice mine. In dire need of ice for oxygen, we're left with little choice. But the mine has defenses of it's own.

When you use two gyros and set one to 66% strength and override it 0-0-0, and the other one set to 33% strength and leave it for manual control, it makes it almost impossible to tip over a rover.

If the rover gets very heavy, like you had it by the end of the video fully loaded with loot, then 3 gyros are needed. Set only one to override with 0-0-0 and 100%, and the other 2 to manual so you can use those gyros to help steer and balance over jumps. You kind of need 2 settings depending on whether you're loaded or empty. Programmable block (and some simple coding) can store 2 exact settings you can add to the hotbar to switch.

I totally love that the game is much more like realistic survival with the mods. the wind in the UI and the mod u can pickup and transport things by hand are so nice. and your partner seems very nice. Ita a cool project I love to watch! :3

you know, those Mag Boots you guys have are top notch! holding you both firm during Lithobraking Maneuver. Improvised Experimentation is the Mod you want for Multiplayer. this one allows for adjustment of strength and other attributes in it. consolidate materials and resources to the Mine area and establish your base there for ready Ice access. an advantage of being in the hills is unseen allowing you to strike convoys and disappear back into the hills.
