Hi Andy, as usual terrific work. Just a question. Aren't this and the previous video more concerned with two slit interference, as opposed to diffraction? Diffraction, the modulation of light intensity at different areas on the screen, is determined by the slit width, usually termed "a", and is independent of the slit separation, "d". Perhaps the nomenclature you use in the States is different? I really appreciate your videos,.

Hi, I put this question on the Proof for the Double Slit Equation, but the IB formula booklet does not include 'n' in the formula, but your/your explanation does. Could you please explain this? Thanks

WTF this was it??? the MCAT books make this topic unbelievably confusing. Holy cow. Andy, if you wanna see some passages about these for the MCAT, I can send it to you.

Actually yes please do, it's kind of wild how needlessly confusing some textbooks can be

At my university we're trying to calculate the intensity at a given place y (which is basically just s, in your video). So if you want the intensity at place s, don't you basically need to calculate n? Because n times total amplitude = some amplitude "=" some intensity at given s? Would this be a good method? Or am I completely off?
