Kyle has been such an inspiration on Instagram over the years! His DIY work, his positive vibe, his approach to combining vintage and modern studio aesthetics... really happy to finally see Tiny Tape Room on this channel!

Wait... are all these Nashville home studios "illegal" or something? Total BS. It's their property they should be able to do what they want with it, ESPECIALLY if it's not bothering anyone.

Hey! Awesome Studio. When you use those 1176's for vocals, what are your typical settings? Just got one and am trying to figure it out - would be awesome to know a typical starting point. I know the settings are set in stone but kinda want to know if I am close lol
@andreisidro6544 Жыл бұрын
Fast attack and fast release if you want to add aggression and energy to the vocals (you’ll probably need a deesser right after because the vocal tends to get really spitty), slow attack and fast release if you want a more transparent type of vocal

It used to be illegal to operate a business out of a residence in Nashville about 5 years ago. It's not anymore, but that's why he had to stop.

Love ya studio tours BUT its mostly guitar / live instrument based ones innit dudes 😏. Would love more electronic set ups also, would balance it out a bit. Samplers, drum machines, modular, synths, euro rack etc etc. Coz not everyone is into a bass player, a guitar player and a drum set 😉.. Love ya content tho as I say and all the best to u buddy… cheers
@AndrewMasters Жыл бұрын
I hear ya. I’ve done some really solid tours of studios like that, Matt Mahaffey, Tony Anderson, Marc Scibilia, Michael Whittaker, Jim Daneker, John Strandell, Austin Canon, Matt Boda, Zane Callister, Atlantic, Jared Logan to name a few. Not a ton of big synth based studios here in Nashville.
