I’m just a bit confused about the first reflexions points in the control room that seems to be right in the middle of the door glass surfaces. Without the plan it’s hard to tell, did he using some moving panel when he’s mixing or does those reflex point actually falls backward at the treated wall surface?

Beautiful. If it were mine I'd probably make a few super tiny changes. Paint the walls a warmer color, white feels a bit sterile. Maybe walnut or something darker for the woods. This shade to my eyes looks a bit like a high school / library or community center. Put a high end fake fireplace in there. Maybe a few vertical ones strategically placed. A couch or two in the live room. Have that open area over the studio (the roof under the outside roof) accessible with a place to relax and a lounge table (maybe a bed up there). Indoor plants. And since it's Tennessee, have a screen / sun room right outside the door where you can relax outside without being eaten alive by mosquitoes.

OMG, this is really a dream... I wonder how much more magical it must be to be there in person! Congrats for this amazing serie of videos! Really love it, man!

@@johnwanderin3872 I know a handful of studio owners in BK and they started out DIY and really small, had some partners and silent investors and then over 10 years grew it to a 3x the quality and space and yes they take any profits for recording sessions to help cover costs. I thin the big factor is how cheap you can get the rent or real estate and if you can DIY more of the work yourself but again - that starting capital is the big IF factor.

Great space...Control room sounds great but I noticed some frequency build up in the live room around 600 Hz ish because of the trap above the control room .This will cause lots of problems!!!!...My suggestion is to pack as much Rockwool or absorption as possible on top of the control room roof in the live room..I'm talking a least 40 bags at least if they fit... Then you can make it look pretty which a cloth wall or something similar. Don't worry about the window up there cause you've got plenty of light. It will make a BIG difference. Nevertheless a big congratulations...Happy recording!!!
