Man, I love this guy... "These two are Neves. These others are knockoffs, but they're pretty much the same." "That's just a stud wall between the control room and the live room. Soundproofing is pretty much the worst thing you can do." He tells it like it is, from years of experience. A lot to learn here.

@@tb-cg6vd Per your comment "Cool - I hope all the artists appreciated your efforts! However your piece on the political left & entropy was utter nonsense."... You say you 'hope' all the artists... blah, blah? You don't hope for anything he's done, for music created/enjoyed, or artists. You lie without a thought otherwise. Your opinion... regarding Malcom Pollack's piece on the political left and entropy? Besides being presented along side a lie, it's nonsense. In fact, your comment (possibly your entire existence, IDK) is nonsense - and likely a waste of resources. 'Cool' you say..? (before being a douche, of course) I'm afraid you wouldn't know 'cool' if it slapped your face, tb303. Cool doesn't go along with status quo. 🙄 James Dean was cool, for example. He was a rebel - not a leftist. He didn't go along with status quo - or political correctness. If alive today, he would have kicked leftist butt every time he encountered it. 🥋 (because it sucks, of course) Leftism is a parasitical, weak, fearful, panicked-state-of-mind collective.🐛 It is not cool at all. Neither are Leftists. In summary, today... Hitler, Stalin and Mao would probably be very proud of the Left. The 'Leftist' cats mentioned above would likely also be somewhat proud of you, too, tb303. Especially considering what you accomplished here on YT... with your 'socially responsible', uncool comment above. Whereas, James Dean..? For many, very cool reasons... he's laying in his grave right now - disgusted with you - and everything the Left stands, or better yet, 'sucks-off-of' others for.😎

Andrew, when Bob pulled out the device upstairs and you said “is that a recorder?” That was an ADAT BRC remote controller. I had a 24 track ADAT setup in 2000, and was working for Pearl Drums (Nashville) at the time. They gave me one of these controllers as a 10 year anniversary present. Can’t believe it was that long ago! ADAT was the best option in that era between reel-to-reel and hard disc recording. Crazy but fun times. BTW - great video. Bob is such a legend! Check out Warren Heart’s Produce Like a Pro interview where they talk about Tears for Fears “Seeds of Love” album. Very cool!

Just listen to Tears for Fears' "Woman in Chains" from the late 80s. Make sure you are wearing good headphones, turn the volume up and listen to the multiple-dimensions of sound and the cascading "ear candy" that deeply impacts the emotional dynamics of the song. making a 5.1 compressor i imagine is the same as making a stereo compressor. You simply sum up all the channels on a bus and use that as your key input on all 5 compressors. Although you can play around with this by sending or less of any of the channels to have a different response from the compressor

It’s amazing that this video starts with a pounding beautiful track, the whole channel is about music, music production, yet there isn’t a single credit given to the composer, the producer, or the company that provide the music for this video. There is every single detail about every piece of gear that’s probably for sale somewhere though. Andrew Masters videos are incredible!! ❤❤❤
@AndrewMasters2 жыл бұрын
All of the music is licensed by Musicbed. They’re linked in the description of all the videos. Generally there are between 6-12 or more songs per video. Always different artists and songs. The amount of work and time that goes into every detail of each video is insane. Building a playlist of every song in the background and crediting them is just simply too much additional time per video. It’s very expensive and taxing already, and nearly no one asks. Over 13,000,000 views and you’re maybe the second person to even mention it. Each artist is paid by every view on the video and paid by me every month - so that counts for something.
