Looking at that first QQ hand -- That's what sucks about playing short stacked. You often don't have enough chips to run a really effective bluff and chase off better hands. It's one reason I've been trying to overcome my natural nittiness and buy in bigger than I used to, but -sometimes- often that just means I have more to lose all at once.
@AndrewNeeme6 жыл бұрын
The shortstack definitely comes with a different strategy set than does playing 100+bbs.

Nice float with the King high. The guy in that hand was most likely representing an overpair instead of a set, so I knew KQ was likely good if you hit one of those pairs. The call keeps it very disguised too.

On the last hand: Did the river bet size detour you from putting in a value raise? You said there was about 800 behind. His UTG+1 range has to completely air ball this board right? Just looking for some insight 🙂
@AndrewNeeme6 жыл бұрын
His range is air, over pairs, a rare flush, and boats. So the question is whether there’s value in raising vs overpairs. I’m not quite sure there is.

Great vlog. Former 2/5 and 5/5 NL player and now mostly 5/5/10 PLO. Notice most your posted hands are AK/JJ+ hands so you appear to be a fairly TAG live NL player (or average/disciplined winning pro). Personally, I find in good live games (NLH) that LAG is much more profitable although more swings so you have to have the right mentality to deal with it...do you think you are getting max profit out of good games with your style or that you would benefit by opening up more and making your hand selection more player and table dependent? Do you think you would make the sacrifice of increased variance for increased long-run profit?

Hey Andrew! Got a question! While in the hand, do you actually think about all the factors affecting your decision or do these things come only after the hand is done? Great vlog as always ❤
@AndrewNeeme6 жыл бұрын
I think about a lot of it, and a lot of it is sort of second nature at this point. However there are also things I think of later. For example I thought of the overbet on the turn with AA afterward, and would’ve preferred that looking back.

@spencercampbell83966 жыл бұрын
A little late to the party, but, why wouldn't you raise the KQs backdoor flush hand? UTG+1 shouldn't really have any boats there other than 88, MAYBE 55 once in a blue moon, mostly just overpairs and the ole backdoor flush is just too disguised to not put in at least a small raise IMO. Thoughts?

Question, on the QQ hand, if your opponent jammed on the flop after you checked, would you have folded? I mean that would have been a nice stop and go play on his part, but I'm just wondering jamming with 480 would be better than betting 180. What do you think?

Next player folds. Raisers re raises I go all in he has three aces . I have three jacks I lose . Did I play it right ? Nothing I can do? Thanks a fan of yours

You simply do the Poker Vlog the best Andrew. From your slick car shots (Nice Ride btw), go pro footage of you to the casino to the entire poker analysis in every video, it's bar down the best on youtube. Sure there are other great vloggers out there. Jaman Burton, Johnny Vibes, but nothing beats an Neme vlog right before the weekend. You're an inspiration to aspiring pro's, or people like myself who play the game part time on the side of my full time job in Tech. You've definitely made me re-think certain spots and not fold as often to agro fishy players who like to barrel (can't win if you fold right?). Keep up the great work, respect your poker game and love your hand analysis and views on the game man!
