Some of these names are differently spelled than in my Bible, like Asa=Asaph, Jechoniah is the name after Josiah. Any thoughts of the different spellings?

It's hard to anglicize spellings from some languages, I guess. I know a lot of middle eastern names are spelled differently depending who's spelling them.

Different Bible version maybe... also could be a tiny, tiny bit of artistic license in there

Depends on your Bible translation--Matthew is writing Hebrew names from the Old Testament, but he's writing in Greek for the New Testament, so there's a little difference there (before we even get to turning the Greek names into English). Some translations (like the one Andrew Peterson is using, maybe) do the extra work to compare the Old and New Testament versions of the names to make sure they're rendered the same (or at least similar) for the English reader. Other versions, like the King James, don't do that.
