Summary: Married 18 yrs and 7 children. Brain cancer. Looking to die well and leave my kids with the same joy that I’ve found in Christ. This song captures exactly what I want them to know. Thank you.

I'm praying for you Bro. Bill, for God's healing now or later, His will. For His mighty Hand of Protection on the souls of your children, to bring them safely Home to Him and in the mean time to live the Abundant Life in our Savior, Jesus Christ.

The amazing part is you're love for your family is so strong that you don't even realize that you're that boy who's fought the good fight, and is about to find your way back home to Christ. Go home. I'll see you there as well in a bit.

Only Andrew Peterson can do a beautiful Christian video talking about the travails of becoming a man in today's society. Maybe' if we concentrated on raising our boys to show their emotions rather than bottle them up we would have fewer teenage boys in their early 20's lashing out at society. Thank you Andrew for singing about an issue which is not looked at thoroughly enough.

So much of contemporary Christian music is repetitive and all about the good things. I love Andrew Petersons music cause he writes about real struggle and then the redemption that comes from God not us. I love his music so much.

The Lord found me....34 years ago, and I still feel like a little boy wondering out in the woods. Wanting to be 'grown up,' wanting to make the right choices in life, never wanting to hurt anyone, never wanting to lose anyone, never wanting to disappoint anyone, never not loving my family and friends....but here I sit, in the dark shadow of an old tall tree that has loomed over me for, years. The only 'Light' I see is the Light of The Lord, hanging on the 'tree' He bore; hanging on the 'Love' He has shown.

Today was my little brothers first day of school and in a way I can see How God our father looks at us when we begin to grow and he sees our first and mistakes. I’ve been walking with Christ 2 years and I’m not turning back ever! You who are struggling go back to the ancient paths and lash your heart to the ancient mast and you WILL FIND YOUR WAY ❤️

I discovered AP a few days ago through his song "Is he worthy ?". I listened to it a hundred times and I "fell in love" with His music and His spirit, the Holy Spirit in fact. He is so humble and consecrated to God. The present song is also a gift from God, to help us along the way of life. We are so blessed through those gifted artists dedicated to the Almighty. May God richly bless you Andrew P. !!!

My children are grown and gone, and the trials for them have begun... It crushes me to have to watch it happen. I found this song, and was shocked at the honesty of emotion on Mr. Peterson's face... I felt like my own heart was reflected back to me there. I listened to to song and sang along over and over, praying for my children. Praying their feet will remember the way. Thank you. God be with you, brother.

My 18 year old son left now almost a week ago. He’s my only son, I have five girls and him. It’s been tough. I just found out yesterday wherever he is that he’s been sick and my oldest whose now 20 and expecting soon (she helped me in getting in contact with him) has been trying to convince him to go to the hospital and get checked. She said he looked like he wanted to cry. His stepfather (my husband whose been raising him for 11 years is very strict) it’s hard for him to show grace, mercy and compassion or even empathy and my son has struggled a lot with that. He hasn’t returned home and it’s caused a lot of turmoil in our home and marriage. Please pray for my boy and marriage and my family in whole. I suffer from many health problems and he didn’t wanna worry me he said. But yes he’s made many mistakes as kids do. However, God is merciful with us and we ought to be the same with our children. As his biological mother it’s been HARD. I go to his room and pray, grab his things and cry. But I know God is watching over him. I continue to pray over my husbands heart too that God softens it up, and helps him too because I know he too has alot on his shoulders. It’s been years of the enemy trying to separate our marriage through many form of ways. Please keep us in prayers and pray that when our son comes home it’s to a loving safe environment where he won’t receive chastising but instead Grace, love and compassion so he can be able to finally communicate without fear what has been leading him to do the things he’s been doing. Which thankfully have been minor. I love listening to all of his songs.

I feel like I have lost my way and all I can do is lash myself to the ancient mast and trust that He will guild me through that door. I can't even hear this song without tearing up. I'm still a child at 47 lost and looking for the door back home. Marinatha!

As a mother of 3 grown sons who have more than their "fair" share of struggles, this song pretty much wrecks me every time I hear it. The same goes for his song, "Be Kind to Yourself." "Is He Worthy?" also moves me to tears, but for different reasons. Blessings

A friend of mine was suicidal. This was his song. He enlisted in the Marine corps with the intention of committing suicide on his 10 day leave after graduating boot camp. In USMC boot camp, you don't get access to the outside world. No phone, nothing. This was the last song he listened to the night before he shipped out. After three months of training, he got sent home thanks to complications from the corona virus. He was 100 hours away from finishing. Funny thing is, my friend is a tryhand, and only would let himself die on a moment of success, not failure, so with the .45 to his head, he said "Screw it" and kept fighting, even though his greatest dream was death. Had he graduated, he'd be dead now. Last I checked, he'll be homeless the 15th of January. I hope he lets God teach him as much on this adventure as God taught him in the Marines on Parris island. His faith is stronger than ever.
