Just a thought, your local window or glass store usually will cut glass to order. I use them for projects all the time, you could get these panels in nice thick glass for the cost of those thin sheets. Then you wouldn't worry about them scratching or hazing over time.

excellent video and idea. for my dream cabin I will be taking this idea for the upper windows that no body can reach and pay for an entire 3 sides for my own custom double pane window. I think that's half the cost with double the bang for the bucks.

I am building a similar shed and I was able to get 9" x 48" X 1/4 windows for $15 a piece at EStreet plastics in Dallas.

Have to allow for thermal expansion on all sides and yeah, you need thicker and UV stabilised material.

Hey - check the video description for the ones I ordered. You should be able to get three panels for around 60 I would think. Depends on the thickness. And no, they don’t shatter!
