Yes but once ur saved and baptized it says u will be saved and god will promise u internal life. So after that if u commit any type of sin if god takes it away or breaks a promise. That means god lied and broke a promise which is impossible so once u r saved and r promised internal life he can't take it away or it makes him Inperfect which is still impossible.

# KevinsInHeaven , I agree with you. This is what i know about suicide. Suicide in itself is not what we think. God sees it differently. Christians who commit suicide are not ending their life, they are ending their pain because at that stage they are in an altered state of consciousness which God considers mental illness. So at that point they are not responsible for what they do since they are not in charge of their faculties. Its not the suicide that God looks at, but the state of the mind. So if i killed my mother in that state God wouldn't count it as sin on my part, however the devil may try and use it against me. What God considers suicide is rather like those suicide bombers, who kill themselves with people, knowingly, intelligently and wisely even though some were brainwashed. Sin is sin, wrong is wrong, however the state of the person's mental faculties will determine whether it will be imputed on him, whether suicide, murder, theft, gossiping. That is why God doesn't impute sin on children. The same goes for other mental or psychological illness. Man my see it differently and even take you to prison for it. But God is the ultimate standard of righteousness. That is why he gave us peace before he gave us joy. meaning i need peace of mind before the joy of the lord. I must be sane before i can serve God properly.

I’ve watched NDE from suicide and I also believe they go to heaven. I don’t believe it’s the most selfish thing a person can do. Unless you’ve walked in someone’s shoes, you will never know the pain some people feel. I think it’s selfish in many ways but it’s also a sign of the pain that has become unbearable for a person who has lost his or her entire family.

I am currently battling the temptation of suicide. My dad, grandmother, a friend, and my sweet wife, who was my best friend in the world, have all died in the last 4 months. I am in constant pain and agony. Doesn't matter how much I cry out to God, how much I pray, how much I praise and worship, how much I read my Bible, I'm still in horrible agony and have unbelievable anxiety. Hoping God will give me some relief soon because I don't know how much longer I can go on.

Please don't, Go to your church, seek Jesus, and when u have those thoughts rebuke them in Jesus name, it the devil spirit putting things in your mind that are not true, the bible says if my right hand causes me to sin cut it off lest I lead my soul to hell. My cousin passed away due to this is unbearable pain for his mom and dad. Please seek Jesus and a psychiatrist or a doctor, get on medication as as possible!

My son took his life after a tour in Afghanistan. He came back wrong!! He prayed with me as a child and accepted Christ. He was giving money to The 600 Club cuz he watched it as a child. So tell me my son was selfish. He served his Country at the age of 25. Now I grieve but hold on to the Blessed Hope that I will see my Jesus and my lovely son again.

The thing is that most of the time people who take their own life don’t think anyone cares about them. In that moment of deep depression they can’t see that it would hurt anyone because in their mind no one cares.

Valarie it is difficult when you have those thoughts rebuke in the name of Jesus Christ, it's the devil spirit who put those thoughts and torments, go to a church read your Bible. Don't let that herroeous animal have his way, and continue to fight, this life is a long journey we can never give up, but only Jesus can keep us here until he says it time, not us!

To say to anyone who is watching and thinking of doing this and calling them selfish is disgusting. Have you even been in a situation where this is you in a other persons pain? Remember they must be going through something extremely terrible to want them to take their own life. Think of the fear or pain they must be going through to think this is the best solution they have. I have been in this situation. I sat on a bridge trying to push myself off crying my eyes out wanting my pain and suffering to end I couldn't do it so I was about to take an overdose.. my mistakes in life was hurting my family and kids in my family. Seeing the pain I had and would not go away I was at a point where I had no control over my own body or mind!! At this point I didn't believe in God at all but I cried out and asked for help I said if you really are true help me and show me you will help me. Show me proof you will help me and I said I will give you till tonight to show me. I walked to work and in my work desk there was the Bible I work with 3 people and they believed it was mine all the time they didn't see it before. So I seen I was helped I have no more pain or suffering my family do not to. .. But for people who don't get to cry out for help or lost the mind from pain and suffering. Do not call anyone who is in this unfortunate moment suffering enough that they want to take their life. If you find yourself in this way maybe you can understand why any soul would be broken enough to feel this is the only way to stop the suffering. I've learned as a Christian to love and help others not put them down.

suicide is NOT selfish. The depressed person may have suffered a traumatic life as a child, and may have tried to get professional help later in life, but maybe it did not really help the person. Suicide is depression, anxiety, trauma, suffering all mixed together and sometimes the sufferer has NO HOPE

He was being attacked by Satan and then killed himself. We will all ha e attacks from the enemy. But suicide is taking your own life into your hands. And that means that you didn't have Christ as Lord of your life .

exactly. if a person has been through abject suffering and can't take it anymore, no good God is going to punish that person for escaping that suffering by taking his/her life. God is supposed to be the ultimate good. If a god exists, is sincere when he asserts to love his “children” ie every human, means it when he says he doesn’t want any of his children to suffer, is truly all-powerful thereby has the power to stop his child’s suffering but for some reason actively decides to not intervene and help his child, thus he knows the ONLY way his child can escape the horrific suffering they’re unfortunately and essentially being forced to endear is to end their miserable life on the fallen world that is earth to come live the most purely happy AND joyful AND peaceful everlasting life with their father god in heaven, then he’ll understand them committing suicide-and welcome it openly and honestly, and ironically enough, reasonably and logically! Didn’t Andrew Womack say here that suicide is “super selfish” specifically because a person is choosing to no longer live with the people who love them the most on earth, therefore leaving them to basically live the rest of their lives alone without their beloved person? Well, Andrew Womack also says that his god loves his children the MOST that anyone could ever love them, even their OWN family and friends! As such, suicide is NOT selfish as it leads directly to that person actually proactively choosing to go live with the one who loves them most above all else: their father god in heaven!

yes its not the unpardonable sin. I don't agree that people who commit suicide is selfish, maybe, in certain cases. You have to remember though that the majority of people who commit suicide have a severe mental illness. To put more blame on people for being sick, is for me, a disgusting practice. I live with ocd myself and i can tell you its way worse than you ever can imagine. if you don't have it, you know nothing, so no, suicide is for the most part not a choice. You die from the illness itself just like people who die from cancer.

Who knows, unless they have been to heaven or hell themselves. A friend of mine killed himself, I thought of him everyday. After ten years I went to see him in my dreams. Not a dream, but my spirit went to see him. He was a musician in life so it makes sense I saw him in a music class in some part of heaven. I walked into an auditorium like the one in a high school. I walked down the aisle to the front and turned right and turned to face him, as if my spirit knew where to go. I looked at him and he looked at me but barely acknowledged me. His face looked like he had been drugged through hell all those ten years. Hard to explain what a face like that looks like. I knew then he was going to be alright. I think of him from time to time, but not the same as before I saw him. So, yes I believe there is redemption after death.

I battled depression for almost 14 years, I know what it’s like to be in a place so dark that you can’t see light at the end the tunnel. Even though I didn’t want to live anymore, I never once thought of taking my own life. God was always there to remind me that He would never leave me or forsake me. I thought about my family who had already suffered so many deaths, and how they would feel. I thought about my friends and the pain it would cause them. Had I killed myself, my son would not be here today.

Suicide is selfish, is that a joke? Don't you think it's just as selfish to force someone to stay alive despite the severe pain they are going through to the point that they want to end that suffering? I don't know if you'd take the side of majority rules in other situations, but if I want to kill myself and i was told that it's selfish from someone then aren't they thinking of how their lives would change? Those people are thinking of the pain it's going to cause them without seeing the way it tortures the suicidal person.

There is one thing I disagree with....that it is selfish...the person who is to that point is not capable of thinking and processing life the way Andrew doe when he concludes it is a selfish act. They cannot see anything outside of their own ugliness, pain, self hatred, failures etc...those things are become larger than life. I recently lost a nephew on Dec.13th.He left behind a wife and 4 children,1 a miracle baby that will turn 1 in Feb.He also left behind many family members and friends.I find comfort in the fact they he knew Jesus.Leading up to that day we talked on the phone recently until I and his father convinced him to go to the VA for help.He was suppose to stay and least 30 days and because of Covid,they dropped the ball and let him out.The thing is,during our conversations,we talked about how selfish it would be and the pain it would cause many people who loved him.He agreed and said that is why he would not hurt himself.Unfortunately he was unable to overcome the pain he suffered inside from the war.Yes,he fed into his own pain that consumed him , but he did know that what he did was a selfish act because he blocked out all the love that was surrounding him.He has left us with so much pain,saddens and hurt.Especially his children who will never see their daddy again on this earth.They have a hard road ahead of them because it was a selfish act.God Bless.

The problem is that you seem to fail to understand that a suicidal person TRULY DOES NOT believe that they will be missed. They see no value in their own lives. If you know the Lord and thinks no one loves you then you might need to reconnect with your father because he will always love you and you're life is not yours but His. What about schizophrenia, bipolar,etc.christian people who are dealing with that kind of illness?I used to be on SSRI drugs for severe deppresion, anxiety,and it made my symptoms go from 4 to 10.It actually doubled my issues.I became more suicidal and started hearing voices which I THOUGHT was Spirits. I knew this wasn't how God meant us to heal our brain and body.I was sick and tired of the situation. So i abruptly quit the drugs without the doctor's approval. After going through 9 months of withdrawals i felt better and my body started to heal.I also got spirtual help to heal my past trauma that was there in the first place .Looking back i will never forget the time i was on six different drugs at high dosages .I am thankful of the choice i made.

Now everyone always says, all over the media - talk ! Get some help !Do you know to how many doctors I have been ? And how doctors disagree on meds, and how meds mess up not only your body, but your mind ?I am screaming for help, and no one listens. People today don't listen.

They write you a pill, the pill makes you sick, and you are back to square one.So even with my doctors, it doesn't help. I can't even find a doctor that really cares to take the time to help.

My family have abandoned me and don’t want anything to do with me until I “snap out of it”. They think I choose to be a victim and choose to be depressed. I have severe treatment resistant depression. I can barely take care of myself most days. So I don’t think I would be selfish for wanting to end my suffering. I’ve even planned it so that they don’t even know about my death. So they don’t even have to be involved with final expenses or dealing with all my stuff. My dad hung him self last month. I believe god and Jesus will forgive his soul. His mental health was not recognized and self reflected by him. I believed my Dad is here with me. Though it was selfish and cuts my family and I deep. He was the best man I have ever known. The lord will see deep and know the pain and the person they were. Stubborn, emotionally reluctant. I am 35 years old. My wife of 13 years has been sleeping with a convicted pedophile . When I found out she filed for divorce, and took my kids. When I tried to stop her she stabbed me, so I am to get rougher with her than I would have liked to in order to get the weapon from her. Now the state of Texas has charged me with a felony, and if convicted it's 10 to 20 years. I have been baptized and loving the Lord for 13 years, and even though I've been sinful I have kept praying, and trusting in Him. I tried to raise my children to know His love, and understand the Bible. Now I can't see them or even talk to them. She has them. The combination of heartbreak from her cheating, missing my kids, and a long prison sentence has me seriously contemplating suicide. I know I shouldn't fear, or despair, but Jesus has ignored my prayers for so long and that's what hurts the most. I love the Lord. I have been asking, seeking, and knocking my entire adult life. I am not a violent man, or a criminal. I can't believe he let me end up suffering like this. I must decide if I am going to fight the satanic legal system, go into hiding, or end my suffering myself, and take my chances at the throne of judgement. Tomorrow I am scheduled to appear before the authorities, and I can't believe my strength has failed me to the point of thinking about suicide. I sure do hope Jesus will let me into heaven

The message of this video greatly disturbs me. Andrew concludes, with a degree of conviction, that believers who commit suicide can go to heaven. He is making a judgement call, which should come with heavy caveat: when you decide to commit suicide you are playing with fire - not just any fire but the ETERNAL fire of hell. Suicide is never the right option. Life can be very tough at times but the bible tells us that during difficult times we must persevere (James Ch1). Suicidal thoughts do not come from God. He does not tell us to sin by commiting suicide. These thoughts are from the enemy - John 10:10 tells us that he comes to steal, kill and destroy and John 8:44 tells us that he is the father of all lies. Depression can be a constant, uphill struggle which is often plagued with very dark thoughts. Corinthians 10:5 tells us that we need to take these thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ. I believe we do this by seeking God in prayer and in His Word to tell us whether there is any truth in these thoughts that we are having. If we do this we'll see just how precious we are as children of God. When we seek God for our identity and assurance, we WILL have victory over our darkest thoughts. Lastly, I have seen some people using the verse from Romans 8:35 to justify that suicide will not separate us from God. I believe that this is taking the verse out of context. Paul is specifically referring to death by persecution for our faith in God; he is not talking about death by suicide. Please read the verses before it and after it so that you'll see the context for yourselves.

Opheliiia, we are so sorry to hear this. It is never God’s will for you to feel like you should die. Instead, our Father wants you to enjoy life and live your life to the fullest. He has made this possible for you; however, you have to choose what you want your life to be like. God tells us that we have to take our thoughts captive, which means if you begin having thoughts that you should die, then you have the authority to reject those thoughts and choose to think thoughts of living a great life instead. Thoughts that are depressing, discouraging and ultimately try to bring destruction in your life are thoughts from the enemy; but he does not have authority over you. He can only try to give you a negative thought and see if you will agree with it. We have ultimate authority over our thought life. I bent my knee and since I'm not working, I spent most of the days and nights praying and reading God's word. I wanted the Holy Ghost to lead me into all truth. I wanted the renewing of my mind so I could get off the poisonous anti anxiety and antidepressant medicines the doctors prescribe. I have been taking them for over 25 years and the doctors lie when they say that these medicines are not addictive and cause permanent brain damage. I have been praying for 7 months for God to help me by no less than a miracle. I have begged and begged to my Lord for His help. I am reminded what David said in Psalm 10:1-11 when he said, "Why Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble? 2 In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak, who are caught in the schemes he devises.3 He boasts about the cravings of his heart; he blesses the greedy and reviles the Lord.4 In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.5 His ways are always prosperous; your laws are rejected by ]him; he sneers at all his enemies. 6 He says to himself, “Nothing will ever shake me.” He swears, “No one will ever do me harm.” 7 His mouth is full of lies and threats; trouble and evil are under his tongue. 8 He lies in wait near the villages; from ambush he murders the innocent. His eyes watch in secret for his victims; 9 like a lion in cover he lies in wait. He lies in wait to catch the helpless; he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net. 10 His victims are crushed ,they collapse; they fall under his strength. 11 He says to himself, “God will never notice; he covers his face and never sees." It seems the more I pray, the worse things get for me. My greatest fear is that the Lord has forsaken me altogether and abandoned me to Satan. I have only 2 months of money saved to support myself and I am 50 years old and in need of a job that I handle. My birthday is in August and I have exactly 41 days remaining. I cry out to the Lord each and every day that I don't want to die by my own hand. However, the way my prayers are going, that I'm not hearing anything from the Lord, that I need noting short of a miracle, I feel like August 11, 2018 will be my last day, the hour I take my last breath. God Rest My Soul!

Those suicidal thoughts are from the devil because he wants you're life short and not to accomplish what God has for you. If only you can see what God has in store for you in the future. Jeremiah 29:11 for I know the plans I have for you says the Lord plans to prosper you not to harm you plans to give you a hope and a future. To Andrew You said what about all the people you leave behind? They will never have the opportunity to ask you why. And that its a selfish act, only thinking of yourself, wanting to remove yourself from this pain, and receiving eternal bliss. Personally, I'm not thinking of any kind of bliss. I simply want to be no more, to be erased. I would like to disappear to not hurt anyone. totally agree and I know this isn't supported by most christians but I studied over 150 NDEs and there were people that saw loved ones in heaven when they talked with Jesus and some had commited suicide but some of them asked about it as they were told they would go to hell and Jesus or angels told them that this person was not wanting to kill themselves or anyone else , they were so distressed mentally they did not know what else to do, they were hurting badly.......and that is so "MY JESUS" ....FULL OF LOVE AND REDEMPTION ----I know the churches like to burden us with all types of laws , rules, and one way track thinking but MY GOD is way bigger then them putting HIM in a box....small god....thinking.....
