Thanks for a great video, i have made many bags with gussets, but never perfect! Do you know if making your own bag with a gusset how would you measure the length of the gusset to attach to the bag?

You're welcome Cindy! As for your own design, it's a little bit of trial and error to find the perfect fit, but you can start by measuring the distance along the edge of the panel you're wishing to attach a gusset to, at the seam allowance/where you would stitch (not right on the edge of the panel). That will give you a starting length to play with and adjust as necessary. Happy sewing! :)

Are you using iron on fusable foam?

Hi Mary, no I only use baste in foam as I have heard of (and seen) not so great results with iron on foam. It probably personal preference though to be honest. Hope that helps. :)
