"He never gets respect"... sometimes you do your best and people won't see the truth, act disrespectful and this can make you angry, although you know that you had the best intentions. This album musicalizes those feelings through music and also the lyrics.

I bought 'Master of Puppets' the day it came out, from Woolworths, in the UK... I was a kid, 12 years old. Tommy Vance had said on his 'Friday Night Rock Show', Radio 1, UK, that the album was due for release the following week, and gave us all a teaser of it, with 'Battery'... I was the only kid in my school who knew who Metallica were. It was my whole world! And it was weird, because around 4, 5 years later EVERYBODY knew who Metallica were! Thus do I have an awesome soft spot for Metallica, & even though my music tastes have expanded hugely, I always come back to James, Lars, Kirk... I would never have played guitar if it was not for Kirk Hammet, & I make my living out of my music. Honestly of Wolf and Man is a super fun song to play . I learned how to play that song from start to finish with guitar solo back in 2008 . I still enjoy it .
