Nice video - excellent explanation of how to set up and use.. and also the tip on the WAZE app was good to know about. I've not used the android connect before but will soon. I'm taking delivery of my '23 C8 tomorrow and am doing a road trip from Atlantic City back to Northern CA -- stopping all over the country visiting friends so the app will get lots of use. Larry

Hi Robert - follow up to my last comment... I picked up my new C8 in Atlantic City, NJ and just finished the road trip back to California!! My Samsung S10 connected to the Android Auto via WiFi (or possibly blue tooth) and worked like a dream! I could choose an address from my phone's address book and it immediately showed up on the screen - navigation was awesome! So, for me, there was no need to download a map then transfer or to connect via cable. Just an FYI

Good info. I have a motorola phone and it doesn't work wirelessly. I have to usb connect via cable. Glad that worked out for you. Did you have the phone in the charging area between the 2 seats?

My girlfriend said it's so you can't play with your phone while driving.. Lol. She may be correct! But with Android auot there's almost no reason to deal with the phone.

Never did pull the trigger on that 750. It is a great bike and I might someday own one. Don't remember who the guys were that I talked to.

If your C8 is a 2021 or newer Android Auto and Apple carplay will work wirelessly. About the only difference in the 2020's and the newer vettes. Thanks for the info! I needed this for an upcoming drive we are planning......

Might want to hook up with a C8 group in your area. We have one here in central FL. We meet every other month on Sat. mornings. Almost all questions you might have can be answered. Plus I have some videos that can help ya too.

I'm on Long Island NY, I should have one of first 23's out here. My wife says I should post it. Have you found it positive posting a video of your car? Also how do you feel about car shows? It's been along time since my muscle car in the 90's... Happy to be returning to the scene.

For 2022 C8 does it have to be wired? can it do it wirelessly?

If you have 2021 or later model year Chevy Corvette with Infotainment System 3, you can use Android Auto wirelessly.

Is it normal for the c8 radio to come on at startup? Is there anyway to stop it from happening?

Couple of ways to do this. One is push the volume button in for a second or 2. That shuts off the whole system. But then if you restart the car you have to hit the home button to see your screen...AND the radio comes back on. What I do is turn the volume all the way off. Then when you restart the car, you get the screen with all your buttons AND there is no volume on the radio. Only way I can stop the radio coming on when I start the car! Hope this helps.

WAZE is only as good as the people who push the button letting everyone know where the police are and radar is only good if the police are to lazy to use instant on, or park just over the hill...
