Added the Mouse Toggle for Firestick by downloading and setting up the three apps in your earlier video. Mouse pointer works except as was discovered it doesn't allow you to click on certain things. Really need a one step mouse toggle like this for the newest 4K Max Firestick. I'll be watching for a new video if this becomes a possibility. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for all your help, but I wanted to clarify an issue. I wasn't given option to grant accessibility on the Shield. So, I went to Settings, then Device Preferences, then scroll down to Accessibility then scroll down to Mouse Toggle Service and enable.

Important!!! when you restart or turn off and turn on the google/android TV again, if, if you keep pressing the key you chose to activate the "mouse" and if nothing happens (it happened to me) it's very easy! go to (( Settings > System > Accessibility > Mouse Toggle Service >....)) attention!!! if it is Enable it doesn't matter, then in Enable, turn it Off and turn it ON !! and it works perfect again. Even if you have to repeat this process it is simple and quick less than 30 seconds. And so all those apps that require a mouse to work, this app is fantastic!

PLEASE HELP! Hi, I did everything to the dot. I have the mouse moving around but I cant click with it. I had picked as mouse toggle key the OK key which is in the middle of the circle which acts as arrows. I didn't get a chance to allow always debug from this computer. So now in the normal mode the remote scrolls but when I click ok to OK the command, it changes the remote into the mouse mode and the mouse doesn't click. So I cant go inside any menu options to make further changes. I basically lost the OK functionality. Long pressing that same OK button doesn't seem to do anything. What should I do?

Still won't work with Google chromecast same issue as before can't click on anything usb debugging notification pops up asking to allow usb debugging and I've already given permission but it's not being recognized

When you Get the Allow the USB debugging ? Message pop up Make Sure the mouse on the Screen is complete off by pressing the key that you picked to switch the mouse on and off . Once the mouse is off you can tick the Always allow from this computer than click allow . It's all ready to used . Im pity Sure your at that stage my understanding I had the same issue mine is working fine now. If you are using the background app & process list app don't force stop the Mouse for Android TV app or else won't work once you decide to use it again or else you have to click on the app than you have to go to Setup permissions Setting again to enable the mouse toggle service again .

A virtual mouse app is needed for many apps I've seen this awesome tool for a while now Unfortunately my Android Tv does not support it (Toshiba) Ive been looking for a fix for this for a while This new version i enabled usb debugging but on setup permissions but popup comes up overlay permissions denied

Maybe have ADB Debugging turned OFF during the Permissions stage? In the video, I don't think the activating of ADB (window) came until near the end. Try to follow his steps EXACTLY. 🤞

Where did you hear that? ADB is extremely useful for many apps and necessary for virtual Mouse Toggle and TDUK's two extremely useful apps (One-touch 'App Killer' and 'Cache Cleaner'). Maybe you got this idea because Amazon BROKE INTERNAL ADB FUNCTIONING on their FireOS streaming devices (and claimed some B.S. 'security reason' for doing it!)? They did this to prevent users from using Custom Launchers (to avoid the constant deluge of ads), which work via adb coding. Nothing dangerous about it, unless you had the ADB Command Line open and entered some command that you shouldn't. However, if you entered something incorrectly, worst you would normally get is an indicator that the command failed. This caused no harm at all! And usually you would be copying the command EXACTLY from a YT video tutorial, so just avoid typos. In other words, ADB Settings is a great thing! One thing to keep in mind (if using on the ONN 4K boxes with USB Extended Memory ... is that you want to make sure you toggle OFF the 'USB Settings' before Restarting or unplugging your device. If you don't, your device won't be able to Re-connect to your USB drive! You'd have to go back into your Settings and toggle it off, then Reboot again! No bigee, though!

don't use middle button guys it fucks up everything. my navigate buttons didn't work after, I had to use a real mouse to revert the settings back. even if it works for you short press will be for scroll mode and you won't be able to click anything with mouse, so middle button is a no go. if any of your direction buttons doesn't work after remapping the button just restart the tv. also scrolling with this is literally unbearable, so don't even bother with any of this and buy a real mouse or an air mouse
