I'm glad I didn't wait for this. I bought an Ace2 a few months back and love it. Given this review, I can't see that this is all the much better. My Ace 2 had Jelly Bean out of the box. I assume there'll be an Ace 4 out next year, so I'll go for that, or one of the other Samsung models, such as the S3 mini when it totally drops in price..

I use this cellphone to watch this review. This cellphone is not a waste. I'm a normal user who use cellphone just for social networking, simple gaming, and capturing several precious moments, or hear some music. Other than that...I spent my day doing my daily routine. This cellphone works.

I've been looking for a new phone for my mum and I think this is it. For an older person who doesn't want a big phone, want to spend $500 to get the s4 mini or go on a plan this $300 slightly lower spsc model is a great option. It's a decent step up from her current galaxy mini with a much faster processor, bigger battery, way higher resolution and just gets her a lot of the newer features. The cons of this phone won't bother her as she won't be using the camera as she has a dedicated camera and she won't be using it for gaming. She is the sort of person this phone is right for.

You can the Nexus 4 16 gigabyte version for $250. But it lack in a few areas. But at least you're getting stock android and continuous software updates from Google.

Ah help me I'm stuck between Galaxy Ace 3 3G and xperia m. Wich one should I get? I realy confuse, all the spek is the same and the price is not that different. I heard the xperia m camera is realy bad, but I also heard the ace 3 is laggy. Meanwhile I like the XM looks better, but I'm having a doubt about sony XM because of some review :(

It's really funny back in my days..I had an ace 1 and I alway watched high end smartphones on it and dreamed to had all features and suddenly stepped into high end device world by buying s2.. From then I used s2.s3.note2.now s4..also got HTC one x...now HTC one...also typing on it.....and yeah apple as well..first iPhone 4 then iPhone 5..right now...what a journey...

I bought the Ace 2 back in May 2013 as I became bored of waiting for this to come out.. In the end, I'm really glad I did. I can't see that this is much of an improvement over the Ace 2.. The Ace 2 runs Jelly Bean out of the box, if you buy one now..well, mind did, anyhow..

Paul Addy Sorry to hear that, I've not found any problems with the speed of the Ace 2, on Jelly Bean, at all. I know a couple of people with the Ace 3 and they're really pleased with it. I'll probably "jump," over to the next installment from Samsung now, rather than "upgrading," to the Ace 3.

Well Samsung is good at giving new devices the newest version of Android (not including 4.3 yet) but they are really bad at updating older devices it seems. Possibly its a ploy to make you switch to a newer phone.

s3 mini of course. s3 mini camera is better than ace3 and also for screen s3 mini used amoled but ace3 just used TFT, I have compared that with my friend, I am using ace3 and my friend s3 mini. s3 mini more expensive than ace3.

The 3G version is a much lesser Galaxy S III mini. If the two are priced similarly in your region, don't buy the Ace 3.

hey guyz compare ace3 with sony xperia m it is better than this in every terms.Take it BATTERY LIFE,GPU,CPU,PIXEL DENSITY,etc it also has SONY EXMOR(HDR) FOR GREAT PICS but the lte version of ace3 exceeds by a 1.2 ghz processor and 8gb internal memory 5gb user available both these phones are under 15k

Samsung GALAXY S III Mini anyone? Same specs, general looks and almost same price, the only thing this phone has above the S III Mini is that it comes with Android 4.2.2 out of the box, other than that, it's the same device in a slightly different casing.

Never realized the galaxy ace is more popular than the gio which is kinda better than the ace. I've seen more ppk at my school with the gio... I think all of Samsung lower end phone are looking to much the same look and feel to that of their big brother galaxy s series..
