Andromeda's main gimmick is that if you use gravity shift when you enter an item room and dont take the item it doesnt reduce your planetarium chance, so you can get value out of treasure rooms and still increase your chances of a planetarium. And then subsequently gravity shifting in your said planetarium also does something special. I hope you do another run with Andromeda Hutts!

You CAN use gravity shift inside a treasure room and a planteraium, however you CANNOT take the item before using it.

In addition to giving you that sort of "broken planetarium", Gravity Shifting in an item room also treats it as though you haven't gone in yet, preserving the increased planetarium chance you would get from skipping it normally (unless you go back inside after leaving the broken planetarium, which there's no point in doing).

You have to revisit him, his whole gimmick is that you gravity shift in item rooms WHILE the item is still there. And you are NOT ment to skip item rooms because gravity shifting in an item room gives you planetarium chance. Please revisit him

Btw if you use gravity shift in an item room without taking the item the item gets deleted effect of magic hourglass activates and u get teleported into a room with random pickups/machines/zodiac items

This is honestly the mod descriptions fault for being extremely vague which is honestly pretty stupid of them to do... but regardless, gravity shift works in a lot more places than just the secret room Using gravity shift in the item room with delete the item, activate the glowing hourglass effect which will increase planetarium chance and teleport you to a special "abandoned planetarium" room that'll contain either pickups, machines, or sometimes zodiac items. it should be noted that going back into the item room after gravity shifting will get rid of your planetarium chance, though this shouldn't be a problem since there isn't any reason to go back in, the room will be empty using gravity shift in the item shop will delete everything in the shop and combine it all into one random 30$ item room item, it WILL NOT WORK IF you buy ANYTHING in the shop before using gravity shift gravity shift also works in the angel and devil deal rooms, using it in the devil deal room will convert every item into black wisps (doing so will still cost you your health), and using gravity shift in the angel room will convert everything into sacred heart wisps gravity also works in the planetarium room! if you get an item there that you don't like, you can gravity shift and consume the planetarium item, turning it into an item wisp, as well as spawning 4 items that you can choose only one of as far as I know, that's all the places that gravity shift works, though I might be wrong, in which case someone will correct me in the replies lmao

It’s intentionally vague so that people figure it out for themselves. There’s an indicator in treasure rooms but there isn’t one on purpose for the other rooms. I honestly wouldn’t have done it any other way cause seeing people figuring it and their reactions has been a joy. :)

@@mothichorror446 yes you should just use the item that you were only told is used to stop tears and is your ticket to planetariums (item rooms). if i have to do things without any indication of me needing to do them to use half of the characters whole gimmick that is a incredibly way of portraying things. you could just reuse (or make another one given the incredibly high quality of the mod) the item room effect to fix this.

Remember only 1 thing. Hutts played andromeda incorrectly. You can use gravity shift in treasure room to visit abondened planetarium, plus you will gain planetarium chance. Also in planetarium you gain 3 items, but only 1 can be chosen. This happens if you use gravity shift

Gravity shift does this: Item room: converts the item room into an abandoned planetarium with zodiac items, coins, golden things etc. Exiting the abandoned planetarium will count as you didn't get into the item room (if you still enter after, there's nothing in it, basically does glowing hourglass). Using it into an actual planetarium will teleport you into an item room (i think, didn't tried it out yet) Using it in a shop will change and sell just 1 item room. Using it in the secret rooms will convert pickups into wisps Using it into devil/angel deals will take the items and convert them into satanic Bible wisps or Bible wisps. Andromeda starts with passive tiny planet+anti-gravity (that's the inicial sinergy of the character). Some items will override the sinergy Taking 4 planetarum items will give you a transformation and his birthright is up to you as his tainted version as well

Actually Andromeda is pretty cool Hutts You can use Gravity Shift in certain places 1) Item Rooms BUT you cant pick up the item, also dont return to the empty item room. 2) Stores BUT dont buy anything before using it. 3) Secret Rooms you already did it so lel 4) Planetarius, same condition as normal item rooms, dont pick up the planetarium item. 5) Angel and Devil rooms Also Andromeda has a transformation and a Birthright effect A) Transformation requirements: 4 Zodiac or planetarium items (you can have a mix of them) B) Birthright grants you the transformation and a really cool extra power

Dear Hutts If you gravity shift on a planetarium that had an item: It rerolls that item, and splits it for 4 random pool items and you can grab one. HOWEVER. You shifted inside a BROKEN planetarium. Which is why it took out of it. A Regular planetarium looks Blueish, clean and shiny. And Broken one, the floor looks like Cracked Glass with a Gray tone. That you know if you should or not. Because gravity shift has like 2 possibilities that Branch 1-you get a planetarium that is either Rarely Empty Big chance for Collectibles Or Items based on your Planetarium chances. 2-Get a Cracked Planetarium Has higher chance to be empty And rare chances for collectibles or items. Andromeda unlike other characters, has a higher chance to get Planetariums regularly. But its Coded into thw game that you can only get 1 per Run. That remains true evwn for andromeda, but here, his Base chance doesn't drop to 1% once you get one (unless its the Planetarium you get from skipping item rooms, but then Again, ive never seen it lower below 18%) So. I noticed via a Mod called "Planetarium chance" that andromeda stays at a 18% chance of getting one. (magic 8 ball pumps it to like 24% base chance and any further trinket scope adds to it. But That adds to chances to get a Planetarium with an Item or collectibles.

When you use gravity shift in an item room you enter the abandoned planetarium room with its own pool of items and pickups, and the most important thing about this character is that you get the +planetarium chance for the next floor like you didnt entered the treasure room at all.

Andromeda starts with both Tiny Planet + Anti-Grav like tears, picking them up only gives you stats, and yes, Tiny Planet + Anti-Grav makes your tears like that Gravity Shift can consume items and cnsumables off special rooms and give you benefits, as long as the item is not taken in Item Rooms it consumes the item, transports you into a special planetarium that normally spawns Zodiac Items, but can spawn Planetarium Items, it also activate a Glowing Hourglass like effect so you keep the planetarium chance, BUT, DO NOT REENTER THE ITEM ROOM AGAIN AFTER GRAVITY SHIFTING, sorry for the caps, but this is important since Gravity Shift makes a Glowing Hour Glass like effect, it means the game sees it as you skipping the item room for planetarium, but if you enter it again you lose the chance, also, no reason to enter, gravity shifting in it really comsumes all in it Gravity Shifting in a special room other than item room gives you wisps acording to the special room now, Tainted Andromeda, his gimmick is kinda cool... kinda, his item is singularity, first, its a 12 room charge item that cannot be normally charged, to charge it you must 2 either of these 2 things, pick consumables or use consumables, 1 tick peer consumable picked, tough I think high rarity consumables gcan give more than one, bateries work like normal, the second one is beating the floor boss, this gives you a full charge and can overcharge the item now here is the thing about Tainted Andromeda, he can get items the normal way, the only way to do it is by using the singularity item, and itll spawn an item from the room pool, special rooms have a diminishing chance peer use of singularity, also, items spawned by random chance, like chests, can still be obtained the other gimmick of Tainted Andromeda is the way he fires tears... its a trip

I know it's been said a lot, but gonna say it anyway When you go into an item room and don't pick up the item, you can use gravity shift, this will transform the room into an abandoned planetarium, when you leave the room, it glowing hour glasses the item room, as though you never went in, meaning you can get planetarium chance, without ever really losing an item. Going back in will serve no benefit though, as it removes whatever item was in there, so you should go in, if ya like it, take it, if not, gravity shift, and then don't go back in. You can also do it IN a planetarium, and I suppose it's best I leave that one to be seen! Honestly this character has quickly become one of my favorites, and the tainted one is also really weird, but also very much a favorite of mine already
