Insane! I can hardly understand how it was possible to create this demo. I mean this material transcends the visual impact of movies such as the new Avatar: The Way Of Water movie by James Cameron! You really succeeded with the strange morphing/particle effect. Giving a sense of elements blending together in the web of life! To add to that you really succeeded with creating a quite *cinematic* experience that still has its roots in the demo scene! Coming from a demo scene perspective still having a *cinematic* thought-provoking language! Can't say it better than that! The beauty on display in this demo is *shattering*! Here we have solid human shapes, animals, an entire ocean and the collapse of a human city to overwhelming effect! A mind-blowing color-scheme too! I think this demo can set a new standard for what is possible to do with a personal computer - something more people need to see to get away from the degeneratory path of modern entertainment! I'm sure the makers of the demo would agree! A lot have happened to the demo scene over the years. Starting for some with demos for the C-64, moving to the Amiga and then onto the PC. I was into graphics pretty much for the C-64 and jumped over the Amiga and started on the PC. If you feel like it check out some 3D-animated shorts I have made in the last year or two that don't have the standard visually on display here but I think I can present some pretty good ideas and deliver quite some *charm* - like looking at a good demo made with older technology! www.andreasingo.se/vault.html Enjoy!

Yes, the essence of demos is realtime rendering. You indeed need a quite beefy graphics card to run the software.

When we write our demos we employ quite a few “hacks” in the shaders that work with the current graphics drivers at the time. Sometimes, driver updates change things in the shader support and breaks our hacks. Unfortunately, we don’t have the time and drive to keep fixing these things on all our demos every time a new driver comes out.

I've tried this demo on a 3060ti and a 4070 and it's blurred for me too. Not sure if it's Windows 11 or not. Would be cool if somebody here could suss out why it's blurry as it's an outstanding piece of work and I would love to run it natively.
