"Hope" was originally composed for Roland’s product launch event at Abbey Road Studios, where the track was premiered with a live performance. Similar to my earlier releases, the upcoming album - including this track - will consist of a sound universe made only with analog synthesizers and analog drum machines. The synths used on "Hope" are also featured in the music video. In addition to the original version and a radio edit, the single also contains a sparser drum-less version of the song called the “Dream Version”.

They say music soothes the savage beast. I had been left in a foul mood by this evening by events that aren't important. What is important is that I sat down and listened to this; and all the issues faded. My mood settled and I am calm, and ready for a good night's sleep. Music has a huge amount of power to influence how we feel and react. Tonight I needed something to relax and calm me, and this beautiful score did just that.

Kebu you are the absolute master of Synths. Imho, you are one of the best live players of Synths ever. And this track is so full of power energy. Very uplifting. This should be the new anthem of the Olympics. Armin van Buuren recently met Vangelis at the home of the greek Zeus of Synths. If ever one deserves a audience with him it is you Kebu.
