Same! I Love Andy and BVB so much dude. I love and deeply appreciate BVB and I can honestly say that they changed my life for the better. I strongly relate to them and their music because I have been bullied for the majority of my life and feel like an outcast of society. I have been a rebel and done things to push societies norms, such as the way I dress. Fuck Society BVB forever #outcast🤘🏼🔥

Andy Biersack remains the kindest, sweetest young man I have ever met. He takes time with his fans. I have seen him in concert twice with my 15 year old daughter and he puts on an amazing show. The last time Juliet performed before Andy and she is amazing too. They are adorable together. God Bless and Everyone Stay Safe and Well. 🙏🤗🦋

One thing that I love with Andy is when kids (Or even teens like your daughter) come to him in tears saying “You guys saved me from self harm!” Talking about him and BVB Andy gets them to the side and genuinely is like “What made you want to?”, “Which song stopped you?”, etc. He really takes the time to speak in some of their ears and really encourages them when they are down. ❤️

The detail in this interview and in depth view is so crazy. As a long time fan looking back you can see somethings he mentioned and be like "damn now that makes sense". Crazy how much of his disography he wasn't entirely happy with. I'm so glad BVB are in a good place now. I love Restitch These Wounds and can't wait for more material from this version of the band.

I appreciate that he's respectful of Ashley, as a former friend and coworker, to a fault. Ashley is not a great person and we know that. He's done terrible things and we know that. The fact that he has the ability to leave it behind, despite what comes with being formerly affiliated with someone like Ashley, is admirable in and of itself.

I love how tactful Andy is about the "element" he keeps referring to. I imagine it is less for personal reasons and more for legal reasons, seeing as how relevant the "element" still is to the fine print that makes up Black Veil Brides

I remember first coming across the "Wretched and Divine" album in college. I'd never heard of the band before, but the music and the artwork on that album reminded me of the stories that I would make up in my head during my high school years (at the time I was obsessed with Dante's "Inferno" so everything I thought up was just dark and there was doodle of skulls and Hellfire and such). As I dug deeper and became more of a fan, I realized that they always seemed to have a song that resonated with every difficult and important time in my own life, going all the way back to Knives and Pens. The release of "The Night" album sounds and looks like the start of something new with the band (at least that's how I'm interpreting it) and I can't wait to see what comes next and how the songs relate so much to a person's life, both their struggles and victories. I've always wanted to know what the theories and thinking and ideas were behind each of the BVB records, so I'm seriously happy that this interview and discography was created.

I know the “element” was in the band when The Shattered God came out, but seeing as Jake stated previously he would record the bass, and the discussion of things being “off” before we realized with Black Veil Brides in this video. I legitimately wonder if The Shattered God is about the “element” looking back.

If you listen to this the go back and listen to the lyrics of several different songs like Coffin you will find new meaning in the lyrics also if you watch some of the videos around the Vale era you'll notice the glances and lil hints that the band give off towards the "bad element"
@JrAccessDenied
@JrAccessDenied 4 жыл бұрын
Debby Shannon absolutely. Although I believe Coffin (while again using religious symbology with a different meaning example: “take your crosses I’ll live without them.”) was more the idea of Andy putting to rest the person he used to be and beginning a journey towards maturing and being a better version of himself. Letting himself not get caught up in the toxicity of being in what was one of the most hated bands in the rock and metal community at the time (although he certainly didn’t start to let go of that until a bit later). Although, also, as a musician/song writer. Songs can be meant to have duel meanings or be about multiple things. There could still be jabs at Ashley hidden in there. Especially since an “element” seemingly was a big part of influencing that attitude he had.

This was such a trip to watch! I was a massive fan back in the WSTW & STWOF era; I watched all sorts of interviews and tried to keep up with everything. After a few years since then of almost totally ignoring the band it's just so fascinating to hear this. It's amazing how many different outside pressures can play into things. I am so glad they're growing through all of this and starting to really have creative control over what they want to do. It's always a shame when the main fear and driving factor for a person has to be money; I wish we could all just make whatever we want and not have to "sell" it to someone so that we can survive. I wanna hear whatever crazy music comic story ideas these people have!!

I could tell from the day IV released bvb was falling from the inside in some way. The music got more and more out of touch as the years went on, but the moment that element was gone it felt like a brand new experience. Also, love bvb, but CC is such a big part of this bands success. I love Sandra to death and the parts were totally killer, maybe it was just the shit recording, but her playing literally sounded like a midi on WSTW.
