I feel like nobody remembers that he basically did this to kristen with ariana to be fair. I know him and kristen had a wild relationship but they had also been together for many years when he sort of just wandered off to ariana after becoming "just friends"... which he said a thousand times before admitting that they were messing around behind the scenes. Kristen acted like a psycho in the moment so nobody felt bad and blamed her but if you think about it, she was kind of just calling him out for being sneaky.
