Andy Gray explains "that goal". Arguably, his most famous goal against Notts County in the 83/84 FA Cup Quarter Final.

Supported The Toffees since 1965, and Andy Gray played in one of the best if not the best Everton side ever in the mid 80s, Fabulous player! COYB

That was a "cheeky" goal! 😉 As every evertonian remembers, Andy Gray scored two magnificent headers against Sunderland at Goodison on 6th of April 1985 in Everton's 4-1 win. Three days earlier Everton had won away against Tottenham (where Gray also scored) in a title-crunch match, so the victory against Sunderland was vital for Everton in the road to League Championsip.

I was there in the crowd with my dad...as a 13 year old Notts County fan. I was absolutely heart broken when this goal went in. I remember it like it was yesterday

This is a youtube video about Andy Gray. It really is. It's less than 2 minutes long. It really is. He commentates on matches now. He really does.

I grew up with this man’s voice in my fifa games 😞 I miss it . My first ever fifa game was 98 and I’ve been with them ever since. I hate Martin Tyler 😂

He was fearless. It's a lost art the diving header. He's the firat player I think of regarding that. I use to think He was disrespful cos he Never mentioned Everton. I didnt realise his heart was broken.. WHY couldn't he have stayed n played when resting , new signing Lineker? Linekar was great for us, but I think a little of the fear factor was gone from teams facing us when Andy grey left...

No doubting his ability as a footballer, however as a human being? Remember Robbie Fowler's most famous goal celebration? 😉 If you were Andy's best mate, just watch your wife son 👍

I mentioned AG on a post a while back and I had some total prick come back at me quoting stats and telling me he was crap!!! Spoken like someone who never saw him play. Nobody who saw him could hold such an opinion. He was pretty much the only reason I went. In fact when we bought Lineker I stopped going. I was truly disgusted. Have been a few times since but the bitter taste has never really gone away.
