While there’s no truth to the rumor that “CBS” ever stood for The Carol Burnett Show, for eleven seasons and 278 episodes, this star-studded extravaganza of sketch comedy, song and dance became entertainment central for the network and TV viewers. Burnett operated in a relaxed theater setting that allowed her to take questions, cut loose with her famous Tarzan yell and join fellow performers Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, Vicki Lawrence and Lyle Waggoner to have a laugh or sing a song. The childhood song Carol sang so beautifully, and heart-felt, touched me deeply, I relate to all of those memories…Sadly, most children today don’t experience these things…forced to grow up too soon, innocence lost in an increasingly crazy world. Minus Tim Conway as Mister Tudball, I think this is my favorite episode ever. Harvey was always a complete delight to watch. Can't say enough.wonderful things about Carol, Vicki and Lyle. I miss them all so much. My heart broke when Harvey then Tim died. And now Lyle. The world lost amazing talent and very nice.men. I pray for Carol and Vicki so they will live well and happy for many many more years. Thanks to the person/people for uploading these and God bless! ❤️🤗🙏
