Andy Lee sits down with Nicolas Cruz, the man who thought the fighting Irish some Cuban finesse and played an integral part in Ireland's securing of a gold and silver at the 1992 Olympics.
Cruz returned to Ireland in 1996 to coach Irish fighters, but was stood down when Cuba contested his involvement with the Irish team - which left Cruz in a no-man's-land.
This put him in a dark place - which he explained to us - but he got through that and now works in The Midland’s Prison in Portlaoise, teaching boxing, yoga and Spanish to inmates.
