Hey andy, i don'y know if you'll read this but you're the biggest inspiration to me as a guitarist, i play heavier music and have a totally different playing style to you yet your music still resonates with me like no-one else's and i'm fascinated by your technique and how you use the guitar as a way to paint a mental picture and access the soul. You have such a humbling attitude towards music and are just a genuine guy. The world needs more musicians like you man! I can't wait to come see you next time you play in the UK and if you find yourself in Brighton in the next 3 years it'd be sick for you to come and do a masterclass at BIMM since i'll be studying there then! I asked him about that at his show in Houston...he's trying to play a guitar that is more reasonably priced than the Greenfields that cost probably 20 grand a piece. I think Andy is conscientious about stuff like that, which is admirable. I wish he'd play with a standard tuned one too though.. not all his songs sound as good on baritone in my opinion. It's funny... Dyer guitars are known for harp guitars, but he's playing a Dyer acoustic, and a Greenfield harp guitar, which is know for regular acoustic guitars. Maybe he's helping Dyer get the word out they also make standard guitars, and Greenfield get the work out they also make harp guitars...

+rbplaysa99olson I imagine he only really brings the two guitars on tour, it would be difficult with many more. What I would think has happened was he had two Greenfield guitars with him, and just swapped the standard acoustic with the baritone. The harp guitar wouldn't need to be reasonably priced as much as not as many people would buy them as opposed to the standard acoustic. Though the advertising part is probably also part of it.

+Erik Grundy He used to tour with two Greenfields.... 1 baritone and 1 standard, and a Dyer harp guitar. Either way he's still my favorite. 😊

Paolo Acoustic No doubt he must like it. I prefer a mag pickup/SBT combination. That way you can get good low end and a crisp high end without it sounding too muffled. Perhaps this sounded better in real life. :P

Yeah, I think that's the best too! Indeed in the past he used Sunrise magnetic pickup and K&K. Maybe he doesn't like that anymore, who knows... he's still one of the best acoustic guitar player on this planet!
