The best thing Clark Hunt ever did was hire Andy Reid when he was available going into the offseason of 2013. Putting him and Patrick Mahomes together is a dream! They are the best quarterback/head coach duo in the league and they are pushing to become the greatest quarterback/head duo in NFL history. The only duo that are ahead of them are Brady and Belichick. Dang Andy Reid has 14 conference titles, that’s crazy. And of course the Chiefs D was outstanding this year.

In just 5 years Andy Reid has gone from snakebitten also-ran, basically the next Marty Schottenheimer, to a no-doubt Hall of Famer. Every time I see him interviewed, or see any of the coaches and players who've worked with him talk about him, he seems like such a genuinely good man who appreciates the value of hard work and building a culture, and it's finally paid off. Nice to see him compliment Belichick, with everyone ragging on him for not being great without Brady. 2 very different styles but from a coaching perspective, results matter and winning is winning. What Belichick did from a defensive mindset was incredible. Totally shut down the scoreboard
@dfp_01
@dfp_01 10 ай бұрын
And people are too quick to dismiss the nuance that Belichick and Brady helped build each other's legacies. Brady wasn't the Brady we know for those first Super Bowl runs, but he gradually took over the reins of the team while Belichick built it up around him. They're both great, but neither can claim responsibility for the entire long dynastic run.
