On her pod, Significant Others, I'm so here for it. She actually did something I don't hear on others which is to take accountability for content up front and invites corrections. I know it happens but love that personal touch. Classy. The content is incredible as well. It's such a smart idea and very easy to listen to if you're turned toward biographical content. It's amazing to see how far human rights have come for some.

What does that mean for her to "take accountability for content up front?" What does she say? Like for historical inaccuracies?
@MISNM0
@MISNM0 2 жыл бұрын
@@Adam-fr4fl That could have been phrased better. I'm referencing the intro talk to the Molly Day Thacher episode where she says to the effect of of something is wrong or xyz then be in touch. Clearly she was much better at that communication. My point is that it was nice to hear a host be open to that early on. Maybe I'm just burnt out from the news and even that gesture seemed overly nice.

Andy Richter Controls the Universe was one of my favourite shows on TV right at the start of high school. In Grade 9 I didn't have a clue who Conan O'Brien was and the first time I saw Andy and Conan together on stage I have this vivid memory of thinking. "I guess Conan needs a sidekick like Andy to keep it funny". I would have had no idea of Conan's Simpsons credits at that time either. Andy was the big name for me lmao.

Andy not being recognized when with Conan reminds me of an apparent AGT promotion on the upper deck of a Starline tour bus at the intersection of Highland and Sunset. I saw cameramen on the upper deck and looked at what they were pointed at and it was Howard. I yelled "Howard!" He looked, smiled and I gave a 👍 and then he gestured to several others that were present and it was only then that I realized the other judges were there as well.

Conan's been around forever so obviously not to say He wouldn't have been successful Conan has been doing his thing for over 30 years and is massively talented. But I mean in his later years and becoming a family man And being held down by a good woman throughout A probably pretty chaotic life from being so famous. Being around her in their home Give him that sense of love and normality you don't get with fans. For someone so famous she's got to he his rock in that way. Not to mention she's talented herself. Conans best man and wife. You cant get better then this. Also this is a great example of opposite attract. Me being a introvert has always dated extroverted women. SO I completely understand where Liza is coming from marrying conan. Conan takes in all the energy so liza can feel invisible. Perfect combination.
