Really good. I weirdly identified with a lot of this material, being an Aries that’s 38 with UC, who moved from Ft Benning GA to Knoxville TN around 98. I’m always happy to discover more comedians from ‘round these parts Mom and her BFF working together to write comedy and raise a son who aspires to be a comic as well sounds like a genuinely wonderful TV Show/Movie. Listen, I loved the special and upvoted, but comedians, please, for the love of all things Holy, have your interviews/skits/out-of-show scenes at the very beginning or the end of a recording. It's jarring when we cut away from a performance, feeling like we're there, to some dude talking about the dude we were just watching! It's like if the headliner stopped dead on stage and played a video. The audience wouldn't be into it, and I'm not either.

This seems like it’d be really funny if you were glued to msnbc from 2016 through about October of 2021. Before pretty much all of it didn’t age well. Apart from the ivermectin jokes. They didn’t age well with a 9 second google search or recognizing Rogan listens to medical experts and isn’t a right winger despite not believing men should be allowed in women’s sports. A as an aside I’m not a right winger. I just made it about a quarter of the way through this and it’s aged like milk. Though to be fair I’m a centrist so depending on which feeling of yours I hurt you can pick a side of the political spectrum I guess. Anyway. Legit just nah.

Sure it feels good to laugh about it but all comedy does it release pent up anger so richly deserved by the monstrous tyrants who abused us. Personally I'm against making light of this most egregious of crimes in order for us to "move on" because by doing so we conform EXACTLY to current requirements of the establishment. I often see people add the verbiage that lives in their own head onto a comedy special that, in this case, takes an absurdist approach to Covid. I am overtly oblivious to the political undertones of horse meds and vaccines and propose taking too much of both to cover my bases. It’s not for me to label my own stuff subversive, but that is my take and not anything remotely close to what you said. That’s just putting your own sauce on my jokes and judging how I’ve missed the mark only you know was set. I’m not saying your pov is wrong, it’s just nothing to do with my jokes about Covid, that’s all. Have a good one.

That was a lot of swearing for an intro to a comedian who basically doesn't swear. I know the left likes to take jabs at Joe Rogan and I understand as to why, and... this is a comedy show. But in the same way his podcast is not where someone should get medical information... nor is a stand up show a place to to spread medical misinformation. However, this guy, like anybody who is too far left or right... just takes portions of facts to paint their reality. In the same breath of bashing JRE for spreading misinformation, he then spreads additional misinformation that only leads to further division amount the ranks. ("The ranks" being - us - civilians.) so, just for those who read this far: Ivermectin tablets are approved by the FDA to treat people with intestinal strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis, two conditions caused by parasitic worms. In addition, some topical forms of ivermectin are approved to treat external parasites like head lice and for skin conditions such as rosacea. (It combats against a variety of "tropical" diseases.)
