Brilliant BBC documentary on UK saxophonist Andy Sheppard and how he began his incredible career - from humble beginnings busking on the streets of Paris to becoming one of the worlds finest modern saxophonists today.

Great! I played on the same venue as Andy at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark ( when they had jazz. In a small tent well away from the Pop music area) way back, probably the time this interview/documentary was made. I play tenor and soprano also. I really dug his playing. It is real if you know what I mean.

So strange how they don't mention Sphere with Andy and Geoff Williams. So many great nights listening to that band in Bristol in the early eighties.
