I've been working on a long series of videos for years now for an online language learning program for kids, where we often integrate 2D characters into the scenes, and nothing we've done looks as well-integrated as this! Very impressive and cute!

This is great you guys!! I'd love to know what pushed you to the c300 over the c500. For me I find the noise in the shadows was a relatively large decision making element that pushed me to fall in love with the cleaner shadows of the c300. Did you feel you didn't need Full Frame as well?

I am debating whether to bring my C70 to the workshop in August, but I would be very interested in seeing how the C70 pairs up with the C300Mk III, I would think rather well as they both use the same sensor, but less shooting profiles with the C70 compared to the 300Mk III.

@Andyax The Sigma 18-35 f1.8 does it cover the full super 35mm sensor? Also can we use it on full frame FX6 or will it have vignetting in the corners. Thanks
@Andyax3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jaan. The Sigma 18-35mm lens is an APS-C lens, so it will create some vignetting on a full frame camera when you shoot wide.

@scottslotterbeck37963 жыл бұрын
Color science. And Canon's auto focus is the best. Panasonic's is...terrible. I would not trust it. Still, sometimes a focus puller is vital. If you have two actors sitting next to one another, and you don't move the frame, I think it would be impossible.
@martijnscheffer3 жыл бұрын
@@scottslotterbeck3796 😂😂 well thats not true for all sony camera's like the new fx6 or fx9 sonys autofocus is wqy better. But i do like the cannon collor science. And also every camera has its own use and i think canons menu system is way easyer so if you buy a canon as your first camera you stay with canon (most of the time)

If you are a beginner, but have a large budget for your first camera, should you dare buy this camera as a novice or is it just too complicated? Its seems a bit overwhelming or maybe you would suggest an easier camera to operate and spend more on lenses?
@Andyax3 жыл бұрын
Hi! I would have made sure that I have enough money to spend on lights and sound equipment as well :) We are releasing a video about the new Black Magic camera very soon. That’s a camera that could be good for first buyers. So stay tuned! - Anders
@scottslotterbeck37963 жыл бұрын
@@Andyax Also consider used. Novice filmmakers are camera-centric. Sound is 109% crucial! Bad sound ruins films. Lighting is important as well. Lighting can be purchased used, too. Also don't overlook borrowing equipment. Networking is key in filmmaking. Make friends, be nice and supportive. Don't have a bad attitude; that will ruin your chances if no one likes you.
