Nice one! The 4K 60 issue might be the cable/camera. The G9 has the same problem. I tried a whole bunch of HDMI cables and one thing I found is that a 48gpbs cable is needed. And even then it’s a toss up whether it works, depending on the cable. I talked to PhotoJoseph and Gerald Undone about it last year and they confirmed the issue.

Interesting..yea I’m still not 100% on the issue here but it worked perfectly with all my cameras but the S5ii.

bonjour, thank you fir this video. Do you mean that it works fine in 4k 60 with the GH6, When reading the spec it seems to accept only 4k30 but good to know before I buy.

It did for me! Just the S5ii had problems randomly

Thank you! I've had two of these now, and both have a problem with the tilt arm swivel connection, just above where it hooks into the camera shoe, being kind of loose, so the screen kind of flops over out of line with the camera. Not the connection to the camera itself, but the connection with the arm. That happen to you?

Maybe a little? Like you’re saying the monitor gets tilted compared to the camera?

Heyyy tnks a lot for this review !!! I also have an S5II, and if this monitor cannot do 4k60p is very frustrating. If I film in 4k50p do you think it works?
@RhettThompsonFilm8 ай бұрын
They told me it wasn’t designed with higher than 4k30 in mind. Not sure why that would be but I would swap out for something from Shimbol or Atomos like the Shinobi which could work better.

@@RhettThompsonFilm Thank you very much for the answer ! Shinobi is nice but old and expensive :( I still have my doubts because in the video you say that with the S5II when we film 4K 48p the monitor works ( 6:46 ) but when we switch to 4K 60p doesn’t work. My question is if i film in 4k50p which is very close to 4k48p, it will work? Tnksss

Hi, what battery would you recommend for 3/4 hours of shooting with this monitor?

Hey, I’m trying to buy one of these monitors but not sure which one to jump for between this, the A6 plus 2, the A6 max, ect. Kinda confused on all the differences
@RhettThompsonFilm11 ай бұрын
It looks like A6ii is 5.5 inch and the Max is 6 inches right off the bat! Otherwise I’m not 100% sure
@KrystalAndycine4 ай бұрын
Hello, the A6 Max is a 6-inch monitor with 500 nits brightness. The size of the A6 Plus V2 and A6 II are both 5.5 inches, but the brightness of the A6 Plus V2 monitor is 500 nits. The brightness of the A6 II monitor is 1600 nits, which is high brightness.
