I wish I had a guitar instructor like Andy, he explains everything beautifully. He doesn't just want to finish and go home.

Appreciate Video! Forgive me for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you researched - Rozardner Stopping Sounds Reality (should be on google have a look)? It is a great one of a kind product for transforming you into A guitar legend without the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my buddy finally got great success with it.

Andy, I see it as the TAB being upside down, regardless of the sound of the string, because when I look down on my guitar, I am first seeing the THICKEST string, "E," the 6th string, NOT the thinnest, "E," 1st string. Of course I am not a teacher such as yourself, but from a student's point of view, particularly a beginner, this is very confusing and I'm not the only one who sees this. How will I get used to reading the Tabs correctly? Thanks.
@conceptart6467 жыл бұрын
It's confusing yes. For me it makes more sense to see the other way around, but honestly if the tab is most commonly showed the way he says, its worth to teach yourself to see the chords in the proper way for it can be confusing later if you keep changing the perspective.
@davidmaynard3986 жыл бұрын
I have to say I see it that way too the big E string is always the first string when I look down. I t just seems like it is Backwards.
@jasonbull39876 жыл бұрын
Those chord boxes helped being vertical for me. Heaps easier to visualize. Horizontal is completely upside down.
@lisascott28415 жыл бұрын
@@davidmaynard398 Same here. Chord boxes still look upside down to me after 25 years. No idea how i made it through guitar class in high school. I hated theory etc. I self taught myself.

Because all chord boxes are the same size how do you know when to go down like what if one was on the 12 fret, it doesn't show that on the chord boxes because they are all the same size so you might do all the chords in the same area

I wonder if guitarists use a capo instead of their finger for the bar chord for that reason.

I though, The thickest line in the guitar tab was representing sixth string, The thickest string on the guitar.
