Got back into good ol' survival minecraft after about a year of not playing, got my elytra and just found a beautiful double desert village about 20,000 blocks away from spawn, both completely surrounded by a huge coral sea. This desert oasis is going to be my prettiest village yet thanks to this video!

On your diagonal, I would add some stairs blocks as tiny windows. There are some good tips in there. My favourite would probably be the stairs, not the stairs themselves, but the interior space gained. Never thought of that before.

So many great little design ideas that are also easy to make in survival. I like the sort of round belfry on top of the tower. That's one I'm stealing! Also the cart and wheelbarrow designs, maybe with grindstones as wheels. What I really need is a way to make desert towers a bit more functional. I hate the inner spiral staircase because it makes me dizzy. Maybe a signal fire on top would look cool, and some way to make the tower more like a barracks.

Nice texture pack! It rivals Chroma Hills. I think I'll try it out for a while. It will be nice to have a new flavor to Minecraft for my new 1.16 seed. And thanks for uploading a desert tutorial. I took over a desert temple as a starter base and I don't know what to do with it! So far I've put a portal in the center of it, and made an underground trading hall. Boats fit perfectly on a block between two walls. With a trap door on the ceiling, it makes it super easy to transport and contain villagers; because villagers can't walk under the trap door space like players can.

Bedrock Players as of 1.28.81, note that using the smithing tables in the Furnace design as shown will cause fires intermittently in front of the smithing tables (from the lava). (Will edit when I find a solution) Also if you're going to use these in a village, use iron bars in front of the furnaces otherwise your villagers will burn.

I don't like the barrels as a door because the whole point of doors is that they open... Perhaps if there was some redstone involved, but even the best 3x3 restone door is pretty bulky.
