Ohhhh the Horror!!!!! Poor Garry Brabham had an engine problem..... I forgot to put petrol in it!!!!!!! Yes that was me.... during pre race checks "Spider" Dave Coyne`s mechanic was using the fuel filling equipment, But in my head I ticked it off my list..., Dohhhhh so sent him out a little short of fuel...... Novice mistake, but went on to many happy years in Motor Sport. 27 years, F3, F3000, ending up doing 17 years at Mclaren, so all is well that ends well Many thanks for the memories... I think.... :-)
