Using Filezilla FTP program to update a Website

It is November 2015 and this is still so useful. Thank you so much for sharing! I have been looking for help on editing an FTP website that I was given by someone else. After searching through several videos I found this and this is exactly what I needed!

Hi Andy, something has happened too one of my pages that loads images into a gallery that I just can't fix. Can I just delete the live site and replace it with my backup site?

Hi Andy, I am trying to edit my website but once I have been able to download my webpage from filezilla and opened it in text edit it doesn't come up with the coding... is there another program that I would be able to use to get this coding or am I doing something wrong to not see the coding to edit it? My website it not HTML - this may be the problem. Please can you help?
