Hearing all those Labour MPs Cheering, when the result of the Westminster vote, to take pensioners winter allowance was announced, like depriving pensioners from keeping warm, was a Labour victory. That's what piss*d me off.

A self righteous uni student from Cambridge told me it was a waste of time giving pensioners any money as they were old and would die soon and so it was unproductive, he was a real labour boy too. Me and my mate told him never to walk into a pub and say anything like that for his own safety, amazingly he thought there was nothing wrong with saying that in public..

Top 3 per year, you can check how your taxes are spent at HMRC online: 6 April 2019 to 5 April 2020: Welfare (22.1%), Health (20.5%), State Pensions (12.4%) 6 April 2020 to 5 April 2021: Health (21.9%), Welfare (19.6%), Business and Industry (14.4%) 6 April 2021 to 5 April 2022: Health (22.8%), Welfare (20.4%), State Pensions (11%) 6 April 2022 to 5 April 2023: Health (19.8%), Welfare (19.6%), National Debt Interest (12%) . They will borrow to pay for the pay rises. As national debt interest rises they will need to cut spending as we are an over taxed nation already.

As pensioners we will miss the Fuel payment as , at the moment, a load of firewood , enough for the winter, costs £250.00. We used the payment towards that not a holiday. I will write to Starmer about all this but one thing i will NEVER forgive him for is bringing anxiety and concern to some of the most vulnerable people in this country.
