I can't emphasize enough how much I enjoy watching someone who acts normal and presents who he is as he is. I may be in the minority of viewers, but I do get tired of the exaggerated goof ball personalities and click bait. I am more of a documentary type guy and adding in the adventure/treasure hunting/real life drama is exciting in itself. I cant wait until you find those dozen, or more, fist sized nuggets you worked so hard to search for!

19:00 If you have dug down to bedrock, consider using a suction dredge in the settling pond, discharge downhill till you got it sucked clean. Au sits on bedrock, right? Keep this in mind for future operations, you find bedrock, suck it clean, explore the cracks! The Chinese were known for this, extremely industrious.

WOOHOO get that plant turning!!! I am gold miner/prospector in Alaska and I luv ur vids. I wish I could work for a guy like this strait up good guy. To run a mine sight 1 man you have to know how to weld, run equipment without trashing it or killing any 1 and fix said trashed equipment than read the dirt, tune the plant. Be all do all. If i had a crew of 5 guy just like Andy the gold we would find. My problem is I can't just drive to the pay:( Up here you find the gold than build the road before any gold is run through a plant. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOUR FIRST BIG OL NUGGETS. This is 1 Alaskan praying for you to find them potato nuggets. 1 thing don't show youtube the big stuff share to much you will have dirt bags migrate in by the truck load. I have found virgin ground full of pickers 1 guy walked by while i was panning he saw the 10+ pickers from a hand full of dirt and BOOM the word got out and now 20+ guys are now fighting over the gold i found. I saw them dig faster and faster in the bed rock cutting there hands, bleeding the more guys that showed up the faster they dug . The more gold came up so did the blood and then the pushing started. I think if there was potato nuggets there some 1 would have died . From what I've seen when them tater nuggets come out so do the guns. Pure greed made men act like a pack of hungry grizzly bears fighting over a fresh kill or a pack wolves fighting over a gut pile. Now I prospect alone. Oh I got dog 3 years ago. His fist time out in the spring as a puppy he saved me from a black bear that was sneaking up behind me. I was panning he smelled it sticking his nose up in the air making me look up wind and 10 feet behind me was that bear. You need a good mine Boss dog he will save ur butt from 4 legged and 2 legged beasts. LOL My pups name is BOSS he earned that name charging the first bear he ever saw as a puppy:) Good luck Andy and dig safe:)slow and steady wins. When do you shut down for snow? up here its Sep 25.

Hey Andy, I know this a lot late, but adding skid fronts/rears, and ice breakers to the bottom of your trammel will help you move it around in the future. Especially if it gets buried in a bit of frozen dirt!!

Andy just remember that when you goto cut the cable up to cut it into decent lengths then at least you'll be able to connect a loop onto each end and turn it into towing cables as we both know that when it comes down to towing anything on your site it's got to be strong enough to be under extreme pressure due to the weights of everything on the mine site a normal tow rope wouldn't work. As for you saying the strip stays cold all day round due to no sunlight warming the land will you have lots of problems with Perma frost when digging to bedrock? Also knowing just how tight your area is to make work, would it be an idea to place the washplant ontop of your reclamation soil and then use all the bigger bolders around the base of the soil to help stop the soil from moving around this way your tailings are falling off the mound and then you can just scoop them up and place it down the embankment away from your washplant plus your still keeping the reclamation soil all together. As always buddy 💯% 👍 🇬🇧. P.s you never know by the end of the month you might have unwittingly made another settling pond due to the channel you made to carry away the surface water's 😉.

I’m so pleased you’re documenting the process, with all of the the ups and the downs, it’s really hard to find on the web such in-depth content on this subject. Also, since you’re scraping to bed rock, and there’s big nuggets in the drainage, are you detecting the bottom? There might be some big gold in/under that clay and in the bedrock.
