I think of my mom, too, when I hear this, Tom. She used to sit and listen to all my guitar music with me and Andy was also one of her favorites. She used to say, “He’s not trying to show off - he makes you FEEL it!” To which I’d reply, “I know, he’s such a show-off!” 😆Our mothers are alive in the deep emotions derived from this music. Absolutely, I have listened to this for five years nearly once a month, each time it rings differently but always the same emotion for me because this is when I first heard it the day after my husband's passing. Twenty years together, thirty-eight years my senior, WWII veteran would have been 104 years old today. Thanks for the memories.

It feels like you just keep falling into deeper and deeper layers as the song goes on until it just explodes, then resolves. Simply fantastic song writing. I like how the first two harmonics higher on the neck near the end of the song create a secondary sound, almost like another note, when you switch pickups from the neck to the bridge to hit the lower harmonics. Pretty cool.
