As far as I know I builds your shader cache automatically with the first couple of launches

Unfortunately that's not how it works. Stutters happen every time the shaders have to be compiled for something new, this makes most games playable but not enjoyable. The best way to fix this is to install pre-compiled shaders, but they're hard to find online because they're a copyright violation @@dynamic9428

My problem is that my "kind of generic controller" does not work on updated version of Ryujinx but it works on somewhat older version of Ryujinx. So I have to play on older version of Ryujinx but there are many new games that is really slow on older version but works well in newer version. A17 can't compete with the M series. It might sprint as fast but emulation is a marathon. It'll turn your phone into a frying pan.

go to the apple logo in the corner, go to system settings then go to privacy, it will say ryujinks was blocked or whatever and will give you the option saying "open anyway". I had the same issue, I hope this helps ;)

No, flawless means perfect or having no flaws, which is not what the presentation shows. Sure, the emulation looks great but there's still more work to be done such as frame pacing to be considered "flawless."

Have you managed to get Breath of the Wild working with this Emulator? I tried it, included the updates (so 1.6) and both DLCs and it just freezes during the opening sequence after "Open your Eyes" - the screen goes yellow and then nothing. CPU is pegged at 360% or so, but the only way out if Force Quit. I tried leaving it for an hour to see if it would do anything, and it doesn't.

I found that as I had the 1.1.0 and 1.0.0 version installed I had to completely remove any trace of Ryujinx to allow it find the keys / firmware

Are you manually dropping your resolution? I am way new to gaming on Mac, but in the metal HUD I show a 3600x2252 res and instead of saying 1.0x composited like yours does I have 2.0x composited. If I manually change my desktop res it will change that, but that's kind of annoying to constantly do. I am wondering if there is a more simple work around to get it to fullscreen to a lower res

I didn’t test it, but I always use powered multiport USB Hubs with my Mac mini, it works really well with that because it also can charge without the Mac. My main question is what you mean with USB C to A Port, didn’t you test an USB C to C cable yet? Both devices have USB C so I don’t see any point why you should use another cable.

Mac Mini M1 and Ryujinx 1.1.1094 running firmware 17.0.0 Im trying to play Pokemon Violet and Pokemon Arceus (also Advanced Wars Re-Boot Camp). All my game have the same issue. I play for about 10-15 minutes, and the FPS reading and FIFO down at the bottom of the window drops to 0.0 and while the game audio might continue, the game effectively is frozen. There are stutters that last for tens of seconds up to a minute, but those recover, when the FIFO and FPS drops to zero, there is no recovery. I have been unable to find any solution or fix to this issue, but have found a ton of other people with the same issue. Any suggestions?
