Installing a Superbelt Motor Belt from the Featherweight Shop on my Singer model 221 Sewing Machine

Welcome to Andy Tube, Cynthia. I'm happy you found my channel, and thanks to the Facebook member who recommended me. I just put the Superbelt on my Featherweight a couple of weeks ago too! I was skeptical at first as it didn’t seem as substantial as the usual v-belts, but so far so good! Thanks for doing this video, it’s good to see your experience withe the Superbelt! 😁

Andy I like your machine! I bought a brother Festival 461 a couple weeks ago .It's a nice machine and in great condition! It's good to see you back on utube again!

@@andytubesewing1953 thank you Andy.My machine is the tan color the stitch window is tangerine.I was lucky and got the pink and white flowered cover with mine.The machine just reached out and grabbed me.Lol.I'm still looking to buy a singer machine too.

Andy, did you try and wind a bobbin with the new Super belt? That raised lettering on the belt makes quite a racket when the wheel from the bottom winder runs over that raised lettering on the belt!

It was working fine pior to the installation, but I may need to do a few adjustments

I have not reinstalled the bobbin winder on my machine yet, but I'll be interested to do so. Bummer if it does not work as well. Good luck, and thanks for sharing that info.

I bought one of these and it does not catch the bobbin as well when I engage bobbin. I might need to call the shop for help
