That rant reminded me of the time I once sprayed deodorant on me knackers straight out the shower and I had a fire on me shaven bag!! In all seriousness though you're absolutely right. Believe it or not I've never been to Raven Crag, simply because I've heard the stories and seen the pictures of the damage and I'm terrified of being associated with it. I was the same when I camped at Codale Tarn and there was a scorch mark right beside where I pitched. I spent the whole day wondering if the hikers passing by thought it was off me and it messed with my head all day. There's just no need. Loved the video thanks for sharing the experience.

Just looked up the price of that OEX Hyena Tent and was shocked how reasonably priced it is compared to similar ridiculously priced tents that look and perform the exact same. Some of these Outdoors companies product prices are severely talking the piss!. Great vid as usual Andy. 👍

I've got the same OEX Hyena 2. I've had it out in howling winds and torrential rain and it's stood up to all of it. Bone dry inside and rock solid on the ground. I think I paid about £55-£60 for it, it's a winner.
