Excellent playing everyone, but your mad keyboard skills are amazingly awesome. Feels like I'm listening to Joe Zawinul.

You have a very lyrical style of playing:) Pleasing to the ear and classic.

Thanks for that - I like to keep it hooky so you can kind of predict what I am going to play next!

Fantastic! I may be a synth guy but that Rhodes solo definitely sent a shiver down my spine.

I recently made a 50 unforgetable (i know the spelling) synth & guitar solo's from my days in the 80s .. Amazing synths we had back then and still have .. what a pleasure to watch your demos 🙂

Such a great synth collection. Are there any modern boards you’ve got your eye on to add to your collection?
@entropybentwhistleАй бұрын
The most useful ones I’ve used recently are the Summit, Hydrasynth and 3rd Wave. Any one of them is good for several years worth of interesting sound design.

Of all things, Andy, I’m curious about what it is holding up the Minimoog on top of the Rhoads piano. Is that a custom shelf you had built so you could preserve the original rounded top?
@AndyWhitmoreАй бұрын
Yes, it is! One of my Engineers - Paul Attridge built it - he is a genius at building solutions!
@Shred_The_WeaponАй бұрын
Outstanding, Andy. My mentor had said when he was alive that he thought the sound of the Mark I with the rounded cover was more acoustically appealing than the sound of the Mark II with the rectangular cover. I can tell you’re of a similar mind.

Lovely playing but i can’t help feel all those synth parts could have been done on just the one synth as they are all so similar.
@AndyWhitmoreАй бұрын
Maybe so but the synth inspires the playing and that’s so important to be inspired

So you can point me to a Synthi Aks solo? Or an oberheim ob-1 solo - or even a Jupiter 4 solo? I’d love to see them cos I thought I was showing something new.

@ Andy you have a great channel but it just gets very frustrating seeing so many fantastical titles across KZbin that often don’t live up to the content. And to put it into context I have owned a lot of the same gear as you over the years so maybe my expectations are different to the average person. Happy New Year.

@@domlisboa4024 the videos take 1- 3 days to make - & you need to give them the best chance - I have many many videos with informative (boring?) titles that have done literally less than 300 views. I have also gone to great lengths to be honest in my titles - I have had advice & I am trying to tread a thin line of honesty but generating some excitement to get people to click - hopefully - they are happy once they have clicked - my current video has averaged 6 minutes viewing time. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWeXeauPpa55fs0si=7ZWDyfkXlIdaAAH5 - thanks for watching!
