This is simply incredible. I'm sorry, but this is such a moving performance. It's a little different and grander than the original. But look at the sincerity of this artist and this collection of human beings controlling themselves and using their willpower to give something beautiful to the world? If you are blind to the authenticity here, you are missing so much. The grandness and the others choices taken w this arrangement are authentic and meant to testify to what this song makes us feel. Yes, these choices are small and imperfect, just like every human action. But this is all humankind is capable of; this singer and these performers and organizers have gifted bjork and the world with the best they have. And it's even more beautiful that this is a cover because this song was written about deep friendship. I know people are complaining because Bjork is more Goddess than human to us fans,... we all know that. But this is a tribute to Bjork, and furthermore a tribute to what humankind can achieve with our small place in this big universe that we know hardly anything about. This is about what centers us and completes us- indescribable emotions and art as the only thing that can attempt to express these.

@@komendoterrra 💓 I'm really not a KZbin, social media comment kind of person. I just wanted to clarify that I feel for an artist like Ane Brun that puts their soul into their work genuinely. And the reaction of viewers on yt is that of criticism mostly. I get it- Bjork is probably the most incredible gift to humankind and I've perpetually been taken to other universes listening to Bjork since childhood. I get it. But this is an emotional performance by Ane Brun and it's done with an awareness of the impact of Bjork on an audience, and it is impossible to put that impact into words. Thus, a cover song takes the place. I'm seriously not trying to say anything other than ... I wish we could see Ane Brun as a human being here. It's tough what they are doing. There is beauty in what they've done while trying to live up to the ineffable. I love Ane Brun and what they do and their performance moved me in a different way. I swear that I'm not trying to say anything against anyone's viewpoint or thoughts. And I'm not commenting further (I've got real life things to do, like everyone).
