really enjoyed hearing about your favourites - especially the clark, i read a dead djinn in cairo like 2ish yrs ago now & loved it have been excited about the series ever since!! gonna def pick up ring shout & master of djinn this year! i loved what you said about fingersmith too & so glad to hear you loved the obelisk gate!! that was my favourite one of the broken earth cycle for sure, it's like the best second book of any series ive read i think!!

Reading an ARC of Master of Djinn now, and I'm enjoying it thus far. I want to reread A Dead Djinn because it references some events from that story in passing. Agreed about Clark's writing and his influences. Obelisk Gate is my favorite in the trilogy (that might be an unpopular opinion).

Don't bother with Daisy Jones and the Six, I DNFed, it was so boring and unbearable. I read Maybe in Another Life and really enjoyed it as well, especially how she managed to make both lives work without one being better. Also: Murderbot
